The magnolia section is a mess at this store. The staff are very nice and try hard but the supply chain issues, the overstock and return on TV panels, and the lack of very basic customer service sre beyond evident. The amps section for instance was such a mess that over half of them will scald your hand to the touch. Imagine going to listen to a new amp that so hot it burns your hand. The show room is also a bloody mess with way over priced McIntosh and BW's arranged in ridiculous fashion. The manager here needs to be fired. No one has checked at least 15 of those amps for weeks. They have been plugged in and running non stop..its so pathetic. I could do a better job on the weekends..not bragging just the customer deserves more. I would be embarrassed to reccomeded that store and how could you set up a project with people that don't even understand the basics of amps.

Very bad experience with magnolia. I bought a Sony 65 inch oled television 8 month ago $3400.00. Suddenly my tv started getting shut off by itself. Though I have Greek squad 5 years warranty still I have to waited 2 month. 2 month I have suffered without tv. Magnolia they were not helping me over the phone at all . Very bad customer service. I have to called magnolia every week to ask what I have to do ? Today I went to store and there were a guy named Elvis he was extremely unmanned and unprofessional with me . I was asking him I gave the return authorization number from Greek squad but he was keep sending me back n front . Best Buy manager he even wasn’t sure what to do !!!!! He was calling over the phone other to ask what to do !!!!! I was shocked with their customer service . I was asking myself why I spend $3400.00 for one tv and I need to go through this all pain!!!!!! Last tv from magnolia.... no more tv from here specially with this customer service and this behavior totally unacceptable. Cross gate mall . Albany .

I have done several projects with Magnolia both indoor and outdoor at my home, my latest project was upgrading my home theater with speakers and an AMP as well as an 85” TV that together cost around $20,000 and I also added Lutron light switches and wanted to integrate remote shades that we had which were hunter douglas onto one remote.I was told that the only remote that could work for me was a savant remote that cost over $1000. Magnolia installed and configured the remote. Subsequently I could not get the remote to power up the amp. My sales person was very friendly but never got me follow up support for the remote even after I texted him video of the remote not working, when I downloaded the app and attempted to fix it myself, magnolia refused to provide me a password for my own remote saying only they could configure it. Finally I went to Amazon purchased a 200.00 harmony remote and within 2 hours had all my home theater and 30 light switches in my house and my shades configured which I was told couldn’t be done without the savant. I drove to cross gates mall determined to get my money back for the now hated savant remote that my kids and wife were begging me to replace for weeks (embarrassing after spending all that money)It had been exactly 90 days since I purchased. Considering my many tens of thousands spent over the last several years over multiple projects I didn’t think getting my money back would be a problem. I was wrong. It was a very frustrating conversation where the low level employee I was talking to claimed to be speaking to multiple higher ups on his cell phone (in his office with the door closed so I couldn’t hear the supposed conversation) but other than relaying to me “sorry nothing we can do” he would not let me speak personally with either of the two people he claimed he had consulted with behind closed doors.All in all I have been a very good customer over several years with multiple expensive projects but when I needed magnolia to be there for me. Crickets. I’m going to look for a specialty local shop with expertise and go a different direction with my future projects.
