About New York State Library
The NYS Library is a government and research library with particularly extensive collections in law, NYS publications, federal publications and NY history and genealogy. Through the Talking Book and Braille Library, we also provide library service to upstate New Yorkers who are unable to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability.
