I have been a pioneer member for over 30 years. I stay here cuz I love the personal touch of a local home town bank. Lately my visits leave me feeling as if they want to change that. Recently I went in and in their little "store" area the had a lot of mer h with purple in it. I said please don't change the green to purple. The teller looked startled as if I found out the secret and shared they are working purple into it all. Now I know to some this review might be silly, but to me it makes me wonder where the email with a poll of what the members want at? I feel like everything is changing these days and now Pioneer is changing, but for what? Save the rebranding money and use it somewhere else. Pay tellers more. Sow into the community.....but ask the members. I am hoping to find an email stating this or informing me of a meeting open to members to see what they have planned. If this keeps up I won't want to stay and I'm telling everyone who will listen.

Lifelong customers shocked that we received a strange phone call from pioneer bank today ; some woman I didn't catch her name, stated she is returning our 3rd party checks that we wanted to deposit in our checking account. We have deposited 3rd party checks now for some 25+ years. Intrusive questions, she was on a speaker phone and being coached what to say to me. "Where did we get these checks/", "they will be returned, they can't be deposited unless these people ( 20 or so) signed them in the bank in person." How rude and very illegal. A return phone by us to the bank, they do indeed accept 3rd party checks and suggested I send a letter. Just like a 3rd grader that needs permission. Shocked this is how we were treated.

Negatively impacting small business owners who paid their taxes in good faith before you froze them because you want to recoup your losses from giving loans to a man you didn’t properly vet. You’re no better than Michael Mann. All those people struggling to figure out notices and pay their taxes a second time and keep their business afloat when you know good and well you shouldn’t be holding that money. When it all comes out, I doubt you’ll stay in business long.
