Shelves are completely empty through the entire store. I can't speak for the pharmacy but if you're stopping to grab anything else don't waste you time.

The pharmacists and staff at the Western Ave Rite Aid are great. I spoke with a pharmacist there today who ordered a med for me and helped me through the process of using a benefit card. He was so friendly and helpful. I used to dread dealing with the pharmacy staff at another drugstore. I’m glad I found Rite Aid- they’re the best.

So far i have been going to this Colonie Rite-Aid Store & Pharmacy for 10 years (corner of Route 5/Central Ave & Route 155/New Karner Road) and I'm always pleasantly surprised how Respectful, Nice, Friendly and Helpful ALL the employees are toward the customers. I usually drive-thru for Pharmacy Pick-Up, but occasionly when i go inside to pick-up i still have always been treated Respectfully.

New Pharmacy Tech is terrible. Always takes a tone and gives attitude. Love everyone else there, but she is seriously making me think about switching back over to CVS.

This is my favorite Rite Aid, the staff is consistently friendly, they keep it well stocked, and the location on Western is convenient for me. One has the sense they are always trying to get things right. As my go-to pharmacy, I give 'em 4 and a half stars.

Western ave store staff are great! Always pleasant and helpful. Pharmacy staff are excellent. Always willing to advise of OTC meds that may interfere with Rx meds. I never get Rx anywhere else... even mail order savings never tempt me as any monetary savings could never match the value of this pharmacies staff. Wow, this sounds to good to be true but it is.

I usially loathe going to the pharmacist. At Walgreens and CVS in Albany they are both rude. I'm literally afraid to ask a question at Walgreens and I try to be super nice..they have me walking in egg shells and that's not right. I know a pharmacists job isn't easy but it can still be difficult dealing with the tude. I found this rite aid bc they had a prescription that others didn't have...I was surprised...they ARE SOOO FRIENDLY! Just really makes a difference. It's def further for me but I'm gonna transfer my prescriptions to them...Particularly Julianna was very helpful on an issue other pharmacies blew me off about. All my scripts are here now

There's a young lady at the pharmacy desk who is very very nice and attentive. She works hard and quick. It seems work ethic in young people isn't dead. Just wanted to show my appreciation for this employee.
