I did the Ultimate Glam session with Chantle at the Sephora in Colonie Center and she did an amazing job. I needed my makeup done for a photo shoot. When I first saw myself after getting my makeup done, it looked like too much makeup. But when I saw the photos, I discovered that Chantle used the exact right amount of makeup. I even got a lot of compliments from people on my makeup. I'm definitely happy with the results. I'm sharing a few photos from my photo shoot so you can see, too.

Stopped into Sephora and was struggling to find the correct foundation shade match. Tonee went out of her way to ensure I found the correct match. She tried various products and asked questions about my skin to put me in the correct product. Very thankful for her help!

Receive the bottle of fragrance as a Christmas gift to open it and find the fragrance was not in it but instead a 2 oz spray bottle of mysterious liquid 2AA batteries and a used bottle of sample size face wash. The gifter tried to return it to the store to find out what happened and get a new fragrance and there was nothing that they could be done for him. I would recommend having the sales associate open up any packages for you to verify it is actually the product that you are intending to buy before leaving the store! What a waste of $135 gift.

I typically don’t write negative reviews, but I’m absolutely DISGUSTED at the lack of customer service that I experienced in this store. I was walking around the store for 10 minutes and not a single person asked acknowledged me or asked me if I needed something, but proceeded to interact with everyone else. I was so appalled that I actually put everything that I was going to buy back. If you want better customer service please utilize a different Sephora.

If anyone manages this Sephora they may want to educate their employees because they are not very attentive, at billing she asked me to number in which I did but then I showed on app it says I can get free samples she said no I can’t I can only use them app I was like ok then she told me there is some free samples but she can’t give me because that’s not for the brands which I m buying I was still ok with that’s fair. Then I asked can I get stuff for my point she said yes then I asked her 1st it this for 100 points she confirmed yes it is then I asked can I get 2 she said ok, then she said no it’s not for 100 points i was not like what she don’t no how much is that for she works here right I asked her can I get one out of courtesy she was like Noo. That’s not good customer service when people spending hundreds of dollar at stores.

I'm new on this fragrance journey and Sephora is a great place besides online buys I mean honestly buying from Amazon is way.... cheaper but as far as actual walk-in stores they're better than any of the other beauty shops that are around they have a nice man section for fragrances you can smell whatever you want and pick whatever you want when it's said and done. And all these other places you got to ask the employee to take it out the display cases and spray it on a piece of paper. what if you want to smell 15 fragrances not only is that an inconvenience for not only the buyer but the employees of these other beauty stores must hate doing that. Sephora is the place to go if you want to take your time and pick in a fragrance if you're a man or woman. But this store is mostly for women that being said they have a awesome man's fragrance section that's why I recommend this store 10/10 times

I went to the store for the first time in the beginning I wasn’t happy till I A met this girl that helped me so much and made me so comfortable. She did everything to help me found what I want if you need help in this store just go to her. She’s really good and knows what she’s doing. She’s so sweet smiling all the time she was so sweet even with my kids glad I meet such a helpful person like her

Chantle was amazing and I'm so sorry I didn't get the name of the guy makeup artist with the beautiful lashes because both he and Chantle made me look like I could take on boardroom execs and still look elegant for the wedding I was going to that afternoon.
Bonus: went on an impromptu actual hike at the wedding venue and my makeup didn't run at all and still looked amazing 12+ hours later after dancing and karaoke with the bride and groom!

I did not have a good experience here - in fact, I didn't have much of an experience at all. I'm a man who went in going to get some help picking out a powder foundation for myself. I walked slowly around the store, looking at different products for about 10 minutes. No one ever greeted me, asked me if I needed help, or even approached me. Right before I left, I walked 3 feet in front two Sephora associates who were busy speaking to each other - they were facing me but looking toward each other. I looked at their faces, trying to catch one of their eye. Neither of them even looked at me, they just continued talking to each other.
I left then and went to Ulta, which is right down the hall from Sephora. At Ulta, they greeted me when I entered the store, and an associate very pleasantly helped me find exactly what I needed within moments. Ulta was great experience; I won't be doing back to this Sephora ever again.

Staff was attentive and ready to help, but was not all in your face and business either, like some locations I have been to. Cashiers did a great, prompt job. Overall pleasant experience.

Nice experience shopping here. Ivy was very helpful in recommending products good to use for my young adult. She answered our questions and talked to my Daughter as she was the one we were buying for. Treated my Daughter well and gave her a lot of good information. We will shop here again. Thank you Ivy.
