Delicious food. Wonderful service. There aren't many tables but if there's a wait they're well worth it. Next time I'm going with a bigger appetite to try more items from their menu. Our dishes were sensational.

Just had lunch but I have eaten a lot of Thai food, including in Bangkok and the food I had here was delicious. Note that they accurately matched the heat level unlike other places where you ask for medium and there’s not spice at all (Thai food should be a little spicy at least in my opinion) - I’d highly recommend this place if you want tasty Thai food

Absolutely Disgusting ExperienceThe staff at this restaurant is extremely rude and blantantly racist. So shook to see them pass racist comments. Also, if you order less food, they will make a point to make you feel bad. Not to forget, they WILL harass you to tip them, even if you are single person, ordering single dish and don’t want to tip.

Harassing people to give them tips. We only ordered 1 dish for 2 people and the wiater gave us an eye roll. Was super racist when we argued about the tip being complimentary.

One of Albanys best restaurants. The curry is warm and fresh. The spring rolls are the best I have ever had. It’s a very lovely restaurant. Small, clean, fair prices and absolutely PHENOMENAL food. ( parking is on street. )

First time in SWEET BASIL and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot in Albany with amazing food. The Massaman Curry with shrimp is to die for. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Food is good but service is poor.Forcefully asking someone to put over gratuity rate is not acceptable.Tip is payed per service, not per your choice. You can raise food price if you want more money for same food & service.

Absolutely delightful. Pleasant and swift service. Food is great. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. The dining room is small, (about 5 tables of different sizes) but they also have a porch in front with 2 or 3 tables. Decor is simple. Real plants on the table are cute. No drinks listed on the menu, but we only wanted water. They do a lot of take out business, and can get pretty busy with people picking up or DoorDash drivers.
