Avoid Colonie Center Mall location at all costs. Employees are not knowledgeable. I’ve literally had endless problems since Sprint changed over T-Mobile. With sprint I was able to handle everything regarding my account online ON MY OWN. T-Mobile doesn’t give that option. You’re forced to call or visit them in store. Because I worked in the mall at the time, I often visited this location. Every time I would either have to return to the store or call regarding some issue. Back in October I went in to upgrade a phone and to add a line. Moron by the name of Marco upgraded my line and “assured me” that my current phone at the time was paid off and I can “Do whatever I wanted with it”. Manager, Patrick, along with another Associate, who’s ALWAYS joined at Marco’s hip EVERY TIME I enter the store (I’ll just call him Moron #2) also confirmed. WITH THREE PEOPLE CONFIRMING, I just decided to get rid of the phone. Come November, I received a bill for $350 ( my bill is normally $207/month). Come to find out I still have payments on the phone I got rid of (YESSSS the phone THEY assured me was paid off) . By this time, it’s December. I pay ANOTHER visit to the store letting ALL THREE (Patrick, Moron #1, Moron #2) know, they made a mistake and I shouldn’t have to pay for a PHONE THAT I DO NOT HAVE. Patrick also “agreed” and said that he would “handle” the situation. It’s now almost the end of January, and guess WHAT? NOT A DAMN THING WAS HANDLED. Patrick doesn’t answer my text messages and I’m so sick of visiting this location just to have the same end result. Will be paying off the phone (because that’s what y’all wanted right????? ) and cancelling my service. No longer worth the headache.

Stay away at all costs. "Free upgrade" cost me $450, and bill went up $206/month. Multiple times back in to get correction on bill with alway "we're working on it". No resolve. Individual I was dealing with "no longer working there". This is not a corporate store. Stay away stay away stay away.

I asked for the $75 plan, they confirmed that's what they'll give me. When I saw the bill, I asked again to confirm I was getting the $75 plan they said yes but it was extra because of insurance. When I logged in to my T-mobile account I see that I have the $95 plan. In store, I was told my payments will be $140/month but it's actually $170/month. Staff were nice but please be more honest.

I've been a T-Mobile customer for over 20 years and have never regretted it. I dropped by here yesterday to get a new sim card. I was helped by a wonderful young man, Marco. He knew his business, was informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Unlike some places I've been, he made me feel welcome while he replaced my sim card and checked to make sure it worked. Anytime I need help in the future, I'm coming here!

Marco, Patrick, and Mack are helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They worked with me to evaluate my needs, establish a plan, and select a device that fit my budget. I will readily and happily return to any store these gentlemen operate. Their care for the customer and the company really shows through in their top notch customer service. I'm familiar with quality management principles and evaluate processes at my workplace. These guys are high performs. I will ask for them by name.

Been with T-mobile since 2008. They use to re-do payments arrangement. Now, once made no help. Times like this between rent, food/others. Your service will be spended. Make it like other companies. It's a threatening issue now.

Customer service was absolutely unrivaled compared to other phone companies I’ve worked with in the past. Honesty and integrity go a long way in selling products I would know as I am in the business of marketing and The representatives at T-Mobile were honest and trustworthy with me and helped me get the best phone and plan for my budget.

2nd Floor - Ian was great and willing to help. He alone deserves 5 stars and a raise/promo. The mall was about to close, he spent his last 15 mins willing to help in any way possible. When we returned a week later, he wasn't there. The lady who was there today, stated to go downstairs. I wish Ian was there today. Review for 1st floor T-Mobile *If they inform you you cannot bring in a UNLOCKED AMAZON PURCHASED DEVICE, IS A LIE* STAFF- 1. One didn't make eye contact. 2. Second walked out of the store when we showed up, and was in a terrible mood. 3. TIANA HELPED US would work overtime for us and help because of #1 employee who was off and #2 who was in a bad mood. What she really could’ve told us is that none of them actually wanted to help directly, instead of wasting our time with attempts to upsell devices. & tell us we should’ve went to a better store that would. EXPERIENCE- I brought an amazon purchased unlocked device to move off of Sprint and onto T-Mobile network. She started off telling her experience with other customers, devices like such purchased externally doesn’t work with T-Mobile. “Amazon does something to the phones” I asked 4 different ways if she could try and said in no in 4 diff ways. Even confirming other carriers say the same. She finally somewhat agreed to “try”. She opens the account info, discovers 2 promotions on the account -two brand new phones are free at no cost to the account owner. I asked what is the contract requirements? "None", What is the fine print detail? "There is none". She walks us over to the phone, points this phone is free, then mentions something along the lines of "..until the plan payments are completed". I caught what she mentioned, she noticed I did. I asked what she meant about payments, if the device is free. She decided to actually explain what I initially asked, “the new 1700$ device, we would get 1k off but would require to pay 700$ monthly.” I said I don't want to be in a contract required to pay monthly for a device hence the unlocked device. I Asked her to put the old SIM into unlocked phone to see if we can bypass T-Mobiles system limitations (her words) but Instead... She put HER SIM card in to prove it wouldn’t work on an unlocked phone... I thought this was rather unprofessional. She puts in her mobile SIM card, the device took about 3 minutes to boot up new. She proceeds tells us that the network/service is flickering. States the network shows “no service” but then discovers bars. waits about 20 seconds to tell us theirs no services on the phone. BUT DOES NOT ACTUALLY SHOW US!!!! I've never experienced a carrier that connects to a service in less than one minute. She takes her SIM card out. I take back OUR phone to check, and there is service (2 bars) lingering on the screen. Why lie? She lied and wasted our time. The time she wasted, the phone actually would've been fixed. And it wasn’t even worth the bs she was making up. Tiana mentioned the store would not be able to help with any plan changes to the account & call T-Mobile directly. She recommend to purchase a phone. We said no. She said it was was her last day here and was planning on going to Renssalear TMobile & visit her for help. Honestly Good for this store. NEXT STEPS- Walked to Verizon, they disagreed with Tiana’s comments about carriers not accepting Amazon unlocked phones. They never had issues unless its purchased overseas. CONCLUSION- AVOID THIS STORE F1 unless you’re planning on purchasing a new phone, the reps will make commission. *We went to another T-Mobile.* They transferred the services within 15 minutes!*No rude comments or lies. They also stated Tiana was inaccurate, the reps at this store make commission and will likely not help outside of selling devices. Also for us to inform store management. I hope this review will be escalated internally with an action plan. All, please go to the 2nd floor T-Mobile & avoid the F1. R
