Came during a snowstorm, Ray was behind the bar and more than hospitable. Mead is delicious. Brought in a slice from around the corner and had a flight or two, great way to ride out a blizzard.

Enjoy how quite this place typically is when we go. The mead is the best around, it is made with lots of love and attention.

I saw the Bull and Bee tasting table I tried some “sweet Meade” delicious!(They were set up at the Albany, capitol, concourse, farmers market)I was invited to come the tasting room just a few blocks away later that evening.A friend of mine was coming to visit the Albany area that night and we were looking for a “good time, experience” to enjoy together. This was perfect! We started our night at the Bull and Bee tasting room. We ordered flights of Meade, we tried a bunch of flavors. We tried Coffee, spicy, sweet, classic… and more. Amazing! And delicious!Upon entering the tasting room, we were greeted by the bartender/owner Ray. An amazing and welcoming soul. We got to talking about the different flavors that they offer and their bottling process. Right from the beginning we were treated as though we were already friends/family and felt like we had known each other for years.Stopping at the bull and bee and starting our night here was a catalyst beginning to one of the best nights I have had in years, there was a concert venue just down the street that was having a metal show which complemented the mead that we had purchased from the tasting room perfectly.I came back the very next day and bought a couple bottles.Delicious product, highly recommended. Perfect location, warm inviting atmosphere.10/10 thanks!
Parking: Huge lot across the street, in a historically rich area of downtown Albany.

I have not been to this location but I have bought and tried their mead at several popups! It was AMAZING and very versatile. I’ve made cocktails with it and also just enjoyed it as is. Definitely a fan over here!

Didn't eat. Had a couple drinks and listened to the acoustic guitar player. Had a nice chill time. Colorful clientele. Try Joy Mead.

This place is absolutely fantastic. My fiancé and I went in for a tasting and it was the first time in my life that I have ever wanted to buy a few bottles of what we tried. Highly recommend it!

Small batch drinks with a great vibe! Fun, knowledgeable, easygoing staff - Ray & Dan are absolute gems. A quiet getaway right next to the NYS/Empire plaza bustle. Love it!

Pretty neat place! Just be mindful- to take mead home is $40 a can. We definitely didn't expect to pay $100 for two flights and two cans, but it was a neat place to check our en route! Call ahead to make sure they have enough mead in stock :)

My favorite place. Only have chips and popcorn so no food, but they let you bring food in. Great drinks. Great vibe.

Cool spot! We sampled a variety of meads. They have traditional meads as well as some more inventive ones including a jalapeño mead and a winter spices mead (my fav). Nice ambience too and excellent service. Our bartender was very knowledgeable about the various meads and attentive. Small place but when we visited on a Saturday afternoon it was not busy. They have a book exchange and board games. Free popcorn! I would definitely come back here. I was considering bringing home some meads but I thought their bottle prices were a bit steep at between $25 and $35. Meads in our local area (MA and RI) are more in the $20 bottle range from local spots. Don't miss the cool mural in the back!
