I rented a trailer over the weekend and it was a smooth experience. The people behind the counter at pickup and drop off were professional, helpful, friendly and funny. THD needs to hire more like them.

The tool rental staff was an old man who didn't explain the contract or explain how the machine worked. We needed to come back to pick up the rental at a later time and he couldn't seem to figure.out how to print out a new ticket with the adjusted time on it. He gave me a marker and said to cross it out and write the new time. Then it took him an hour and a half to unlock the rental machine and move it so i could hook it up to my tow hitch.

today I returned a pressure washer to the 979 Central ave location in Albany NY. I had gone to the tool rental section yesterday to get a pressure washer that would help me pull the paint of my deck. I walked out with the 1400 psi electric washer. When I got home I then had to YouTube how to use it because it was not explained. After I figured out the proper way to use it, I quickly learned it was the improper tool for the job. I then returned it and wanted to trade it up for the more powerful model. I did this and discussed with the employee that I would have it back in the original 24 hour rental time. I was charged for the electric washer even though I had discussed that I was unsatisfied with the service it provided.At that point I used the 2700 psi gas pressure washer until then next day when I was scheduled to return it. When I returned it this equipment I asked to speak to a manager about my dissatisfaction in the original product and asked for a refund or too be put toward the new machine. He said he was the manager and I he would not do anything for me. I asked to speak to someone higher. He said he he would go get them for me. I stood by myself in the tool rental department for 45 and no one came to speak to me. I then left because I had to go to work. After I walked out the door the other employees went to the computer to cash me out. I find this behavior very un professional and can not believe that a customer service organization would run in such a manor. I still have not received even even phone call explaining the situation. They have my phone number on file because you are required to give that and your drivers license when renting equipment. This interaction has mad me not want to work with your company in the future.
