Disclaimer: This review is a reflection of the store itself and not the employee who assisted me (Malika, according to my receipt), who was wonderful.
What concerns me is that this is NOT an actual Verizon store. While everything about the store (signage, displays, employee uniforms, name badges, etc.) is all Verizon, the paperwork and receipt I got is from Victra, a 3rd party authorized retailer. That was in no way made clear until the POS.
Also troubling was a $39.99 “set up and go” fee, which was not disclosed to me until after I already signed up for new service and ported my number. I should note that, upon my voicing my concern, this fee was waived, but it nonetheless felt very shady. (This was in addition to the standard carrier $35 activation fee, which I was expecting.)

The woman that helped me last Sunday was amazing. She not only fixed a bug in my phone but helped 3 other customers while doing it. She deserves recognition for her ability and kindness.

I don’t usually leave reviews, let alone bad ones, but this was genuinely the worst customer service/sales experience I’ve had in my life. There was only one rep holding down the crowded store, and she was rude and dismissive. I was a guaranteed sale: I was willing and able to buy that day, and Verizon had deals that beat the neighboring T-Mobile. I came in the store and waited in line (no problem, other people needed to be serviced first) and when I got to the front I mentioned a deal I had seen online, which she said she could match. I was ready to sign then and there. We started talking, and she noticed from my clothing that I am a car salesman, and said she once worked in the industry and said it was the “most dishonest thing she had done in her life.” Could have been a joke that fell flat, I’ve heard all the jokes so I wasn’t offended. She began explaining the deal to me, but she was muttering in a quiet monotone, and I couldn’t hear anything she was saying. When I asked for clarification, she rolled her eyes and spoke to me like I was annoying her by being in the store. I didn’t like how I was being treated, but I was willing to tolerate it for the better deal. In the middle of the preliminary paperwork, she announced she needed to go on lunch and left for 45 minutes. I waited for that time, before she abruptly decided she needed to go home and closed up an hour early. I was so frustrated I walked over to the T-Mobile store across the aisle and paid more. The people over there were extremely accommodating and walked me through the whole process. Completely unforced error on the part of the Verizon store to lose my business.

Since Spectrum illegally locked my phone preventing me from changing service provider or using my number I had to buy a new phone n get new number. Malika was great, she had to spend a lot of time trying to help me n deal with the idiots at Spectrum.

A negligent employee was distracted by her phone after an hour and a quarter of work, and she did not fulfill my request. In the end, she left without accomplishing what I wanted. Otherwise, she is a disrespectful employee

MALIKA was the best salesperson that I have encountered.She came in on her day off to finish my sale.I can’t say enough of how good she was to come in on a snowstorm.Definitely one of a kind.She earned a big raise.

I have been to this location at least three times in a month and they never have enough staff on duty. Every time I enter the store I have to wait to get ignored or told to hold on because they are short staffed. Plus they customer service is mediocre at best. If you live in my location stay away from this store cause you might leave Verizon all together ???
