Terrible service!! Haley Haviken took over a week to help me open a business account. She provided several excuses throughout the process from being short staffed to finishing up other work, being out, and etc. I have been with Bethpage for over 10 years and have never had a problem opening an account. Always same day. This branch is horrible. I have no clue how this branch is still open.

I received an Official bank check payable to my company, issued by the Royal Bank of Canada, Montreal Canada and payable through JP Morgan Chase New York. The check was paid in US Dollars and clearly so stated on the bank check. I took this check to be deposited to my account on the 27th October 2023. The tellers keep insisting that the check is in Canadian Dollars, even though the check clearly stated US Dollars. Further the routing number on the check goes to JP Morgan Chase New York. Very frustrated and disappointed I left the bank, since the tellers are insisting it's Canadian Dollars and will take 6 to 8 weeks for the funds to be available. I returned ti the same bank on November 4, 2023, got the same answers again. I then went to another Bethpage Branch in New Hyde Park, and what do you know, they processed my check, scanned it and deposited the funds into my account. This fiasco occurred at the 1145 Willis Avenue Branch. I would suggest that any banking relationship that deviates from the norm, please go to another bank or branch. For sure I'm changing my accounts and going to where the tellers etc understand the banking rules instead of giving their customers the royal run around.

8/2/23 - My experience today with Nicole N. was the smoothest experience I've encountered in quite sometime (over a year). She's a friendly, pleasant & easy going human being that was able to help with any & all of my questions & requests. Extremely patient, very detailed & informative. My mother & I were blessed to have her provide such excellent customer service! We appreciated your efforts & time. Thank you so much!

Horrible horrible customer service. I needed a letter from them. After few calls and getting hung up or just blind transfered, I finally got a person that supposedly knew her stuff. After spending over an hour on the phone mostly on hold saying I am working on it. She finally said you should get the letter in my in box in max in 2 hours.I didn't receive the letter. So I called back there is NO RECORDS of me even calling. Bunch of useless people work in customer service.

I used to go to Mineola until this location came about. All the staff are lovely! I love this credit union because bank cheques are free! My other bank charges for it.

Amazing customer service. When I arrived I was in a panic because my card had many fraudulent charges and it was a lot of money. I spoke with Matt who was great and very informative. He quickly submitted to dispute the charges, gave me a new debit card and made sure I didn't have any other questions or concerns.

Seriously one of the poorest run banks. It used to be good. From misapplied loan payments to payments not logged into the system at all yet I have receipts.... And now I’ve tried to purchase an iPad for school etc, and they won’t process my payment even though I confirmed via an automated call that I made the purchase...maybe if a live human had called this wouldn’t be an issue. If my ship date changes because of this delay of not being able to call again until 7:30am tomorrow, I will be livid

Definitely do not recommend BFCU for a mortgage. It has been an awful and stressful experience. Our original loan officer disappeared and we couldn’t get in touch with her for a week after our contract was signed putting us behind on our due dates according to the contract. We called the branch numerous times with no help and didn’t receive a new loan officer until I complained on Facebook.
