Riveredge Resort is a well-located option in the A-bay area, ideal for those seeking convenience and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, with features like jetted tubs and balconies that offer nice views. Many reviews highlight the pleasant and helpful staff, who take pride in maintaining the property despite its dated appearance. While the food and drinks at the resort receive positive feedback for being good and reasonably priced, some visitors feel that prices in the main dining room are on the higher side. The atmosphere is friendly, and many return for repeat stays, indicating a level of satisfaction. However, there are several concerns regarding maintenance and cleanliness; issues such as outdated bathrooms, small showers, and worn-out furniture have been noted. Problems like plumbing issues and cleanliness in certain areas have also been mentioned, along with the need for upgrades to various facilities. Overall, while Riveredge Resort offers a pleasant stay with many appealing aspects, potential guests should be aware of the need for renovations and improvements to truly enhance the experience. It remains a popular choice for those looking to enjoy the beautiful 1000 Islands area.
The photos on Travelocity look a little dated but I was surprised that it wasn't as old as the pictures make it seem. You can certainly tell it wasn't built in 2020 but that's not why you go there. But please don't let the Travelocity photos make you think it's stuck in the 70s.

Had a hiccup checking in, but was compensated. Balcony has view of the castle, and can walk to most things
Stayed here 10/12/25(second time) and would also give it all five stars for second visit
