“I’ve been banking at Community Bank, NA for nearly 30 years. Though my account originated at the Wellsville, NY branch, my family moved closer to the Alfred, NY branch 16 years ago. I have found that the staff at both branches are knowledgeable, professional, and customer service oriented. Having previously worked in the banking industry, I know how disgruntled customers can lash out; oftentimes due to problems/issues that they brought upon themselves. Alfred is a college town, and many students are first-time account holders and either don’t pay attention to what their responsibilities are, or they simply expect someone else to “fix” it for them. “Adulting” can be challenging for some. So, before basing a decision as to whether or not you wish to open an account at Community Bank on the recent negative reviews left here, take the time to go in and speak to (Branch Manager) Mrs. Beth Plaisted and/or (Customer Service) Ms. Margaret Bissell. Both are respected business women and have been with Community for many years.”
