An hour of the waiter's humiliating attitude, his ridicule, his temper at the request to change an unwashed, lipstick-stained glass, did not miss the opportunity to show his dissatisfaction. demanding in high tones more tips with the words WE IN AMERICA HAVE A MINIMUM TIP OF 15%. He threw the tip back on the table. And when they asked to call the manager, he introduced himself as the manager. The food is not bad.

Terrible service. We were greeted by a waiter who from the first seconds showed that he was not happy to see us. answered questions about food very rudely. He ridiculed our requests and was openly rude!It was terrible! The food is ordinary and the prices are horribly inflated. We paid the bill and left a tip for the cook, but left the waiter an amount much less than it could have been. The waiter began to rudely demand tips! He threw my tip on the table and began to demand his amount! Since we communicated in a different language, he probably decided that we were tourists and began shouting that “in this country” we are obliged to leave this amount everywhere! Racist!Even if there was the most delicious food in the world, you won't be able to enjoy it because of the terrible attitude and racism

Waiter tried to force us to give him more tips! When we came in, he didn’t greed us, nor did he introduced himself. For every question we asked, he rolled his eyes, barely spoke and kept sighting. When we asked for a fork he turned to another worker, said something, they both laughed, and only after that he gave a fork. Also, he brought clearly used glass for a drink, and when we asked to change it, he went to the bar, threw rug on a counter, said something to another worker, they both looked at us and laughed. After that he brought a fresh glass for our drink. Overall, it all felt like he was targeting us, because he was being extremely polite and friendly with other visitors who were Asian. Still, we gave him a proper amount of tips, however he threw money and said “in all America people give more money”. He said that the “suggested tips” are the actual money you have to leave, and “total” is just a “number before the actual price”. It felt, like he thinks that we are just tourists who don’t know how the tipping system works. He was demanding for us to leave tips.He was extremely rude and unprofessional. They have a really tasty food, but entire experience was ruined by the workers.

So much better today vs. a year ago. Tuna Tataki had nice think slices and the rolls were very tasty. The place had slipped over the last three years, but today was refreshing.

I'm not going to say anything about the food because everyone has different tastes, butWhen I came in alone to eat I was seated next to one of the fish tanks.I had to ask if I could sit at the bar. The Tanks are SO filthy I couldn't help but look at those poor neglected fish.Zakura!! Please get your tanks cleaned!!!!

The sushi has gone downhill honestly. Our rolls were supposed to have tabiko and did not. They were just “meh”. The once vibrant fish tanks seem sad. It needs some TLC.

I ordered a salmon roll and a yellowtail with scallion roll at the new take away Zakura in East Hampton. The fish in the rolls were warm. Isn’t sushi supposed to be cold? The salmon seemed fresh but wasn’t tasty; whereas, the yellowtail did not taste fresh. It was warm, foul tasting and the scallions had no taste.Though I didn’t expect superior food having eaten in the Amagansett location several times over the years, I did expect some quality to the fish and for it to be fresh.I will not be returning.
