I just left Blue Cross Animal Hospital and only gave one star because this review required a rating, otherwise it would be zero stars. I made an appt today because I think my 7 yr old dog may be sick. My dog has anxiety and is very difficult to get in the car. So, I was 12 minutes late for the appt. Apparently, they have a "policy" that they will not wait longer than 10 minutes. Guess I never read that memo. So, for 2 minutes, they sent an anxiety ridden potentially ill dog back home!!! I was flabbergasted. I only apologize that I could not keep my cool. I have been bringing my dog there for 7 years, and if I counted all the times I was early for my appts and waited longer than 12 minutes to be seen it far outweighs the piddly 2 minutes we were late today. Further, no one would come out and speak with me...not the manager or a doctor. How can you say you care about your patients when you send a sick dog home? And then don't even have the guts to face me. Cowards. I took my dog's records with me and will find a more sympathetic Vet. Bye Bye Blue Cross.

We have been taking our dogs here the past couple of years and they have been nothing but caring, supportive, and helpful. They want to help you and your pet out however they can and are very endearing during the difficult times. Wonderful staff, great facility, reasonably priced, and receptive to concerns. In addition they have a sister hospital so in case their schedule is booked and you can't go here, they are affiliated with Sheridan Animal hospital, which are just as nice.

We recently lost our beloved dog to lymphoma. Unfortunately, it took almost 4 months to get to a diagnosis. In the meantime we spent thousands of dollars to treat what they thought was an allergy and/or skin infection. It feels like we were put through a money grab as we went in circles trying to treat something she did not have. We used to come to this facility in the past when Dr. Brown ran it and we loved the care recevied. Dr. Brown unfortunately retired when this dog was a puppy but we decided to stay. There was one vet (that is still there) who talked down to us each time we had her. Because of this, we will not recommend this facility and even more so after our experience with our dog.

Staff was not helpful took my cat there who had been lost and was having breathing issues . Doctor recommended shots I asked if it would be a issue with this breathing issue they assured me it would be ok and a day later the cat passed away . Zero compassion with the front staff looks like they want to be somewhere else

I had been planning to write a glowing review, however my dog's ashes seem to have been misplaced. That's not really helping my grief. 6 days ago I had to have my dog euthanized due to kidney failure. The people at Blue Cross animal clinic were very nice and made the process as painless as possible. So the review I had planned to write was a very good one but now I'm in tears all over again due to the loss of my beloved dogs ashes.

Today I had to take one of my family members to find out what was bothering her. Every single staff member who I saw was absolutely wonderful. They were so good with my dog and did everything to make her as comfortable as she could be. Even though she's a shy dog she was very comfortable with them all. I've taken all my dogs there for many generations and for so long that Dr Brown was still practicing full time. But what's wonderful is that the Dr who was taking care of my dog remembered my other dogs and their personalities and even their hair. Regardless of the number of people she sees and dogs she sees it is truly a reflection of her not only as a Vet but as a person that she remembers my pets and family members who have passed. This has definitely been a life time veterinary clinic for us. So if you're looking for a place that will become like family I would certainly suggest giving them a try.

I first started coming here almost 20 years ago with my first cat. They've always been friendly and good with the pets. When my cat died they were able to take care of making arrangements for cremation which was very helpful in a difficult time. When we got two new kittens we decided to keep coming to Blue Cross and even though it had been a few years they still had my information on file. They send text reminder for appointments which is nice. During covid they're having you call when you arrive and let them know what parking spot you're in, sort of like many restaurants are doing for take out, and they come out to get your pet. After they're done the vet calls to go over everything then they transfer you to reception to cash out over the phone. I was there for just over 30 minutes total from when I pulled in until I left for two cats to get a checkup and 2 vaccines each.

We love the team here and Dr. Funk. They have a really convenient app to use as well. They have you sit in your car for covid purposes, and they come get your pet from you. Then they bring them back when they're done. You wait in your car in the meantime. I brought my parents' dog here a few years back when it was an emergency dogsitting situation and was really pleased. That's why we chose to bring our new puppy here.

The doctors, assistants and staff are AMAZING! Truly caring, compassionate and without comparison the most competent & knowledgeable! I cannot say enough about these amazing doctors and their counterparts! Have been going for over 17 years and cannot say enough wonderful things. From Shannon or Olivia greeting you, to Dr. Brown and the marvelous Mrs. Hillegas (she's the bomb)! From good times and bad with the furry family I have had; I couldn't have gotten by without them. Thank you to all of them, they truly have fur between their toes as do I! HAZZAHHH!

The very best Veterinary office. I've been coming here for almost 15 years. We came when I got my first puppy and Dr. Brown was recommended by a friend. Over the years we have seen multiple vets at this office and they have all been amazing. The office staff is beyond friendly and always remember you and your animals. I now have two dogs and a cat and every emergency, big or small, (even when my lab ate about 30 paintballs at the park) they handle with promptness and professionalism. If I could give them a million stars I would. Absolutely love this Vet, they're like family.

My ten year old poodle had bladder stones. They fixed her up with non invasive measures. All during the visits, a woman named Destiny was there to assist us. She was and is amazing. Always super caring and encouraging. Destiny really cares and helped my old girl and I make it through. Thank you Destiny for being a truly kind loving woman. And, all the dogs would thank you too if they could talk..

In my opinion, the very best vet in the nearby area. We have been going to Blue Cross Animal Hospital with our two dogs for almost 14 years, and I have never been disappointed with the service we receive. The Doctors and Staff are all very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and efficient. But, more importantly, they are all so caring, concerned and involved, in good times and in bad. Their support and compassion have gotten us through several very difficult situations with our pets. I could not be more appreciative for what they have done for us through the years. I trust them completely and would not bring my pets elsewhere.

Dr Jennifer Hillegas is the reason I travel 16 miles from home to have my Portuguese Water Dogs medically cared for. She is knowledgeable, interesting in her explanations, interested in what you think, and always seems up to speed on recent research studies.
