The customer service I got at this good year was beyond amazing. The manger Alan was so friendly and helpful. I was having issues with my starter and they made sure to get me in fast. My car has been running great since. I 100% recommend going here if you ever have any car trouble!

SCAMMERS!! during a ny inspection they told me I needed my brakes changed, complete lie and a common scam carshops use. The dunn tire and mavis nearby and the firestone on maple do the same scam and many more. My brakes literally had less than 5,000 miles on them and brakes can last in some cases 80,000 miles, these people are pos and so are the people at DUMB TIRE AND MAVIS SCAMMERS

Went to Good Year on Transit Rd. in Williamsville. I needed front brakes and a NYSI. During the NYSI they came out and said I needed tires. Total bill was eight hundred and some odd dollars. The smartest thing I did all day was to pay for that by check. I came back at 3:00 pm to pay for and pick the car up. While I was in paying my girlfriend drove the car to her uncles house nearby. Several minutes after she left she called me up and asked if it was normal that the brake pedal go right to the floor. When I got to her uncle's house I took the car for a ride around the block. The pedal did go right to the floor. I called my bank and put a stop payment on the check I wrote. I called Northtown Toyota and Brought the car to them. Goodyear screwed the brake job up and then did not bleed the brakes when finished. They could not have taken the car for the mandatory test drive when they were finished. Northtown redid the brake job. Their bill was just over a thousand dollars and they wrote me a letter describing the mistakes that Good Year made. I did call Good Year the day this happened. They denied they did anything wrong and told me to bring the car back. I told them they should have done the job correctly the first time and I was bringing the car to Northtown. A few weeks go by and Good Year starts calling me looking for their payment. I then went to Amherst Small Claims Court trying to get the thousand plus dollars back that I paid Northtown. A Good Year manager called me and his offer was I pay him the $800.00 and he pays me the $1,000.00. He would not admit that the guy that worked on my car that day screwed up.

Brought my vehicle in for new tires. When I got it back, the tire pressure system would not reset so I drove it as recommended but it still did not reset. Took it back and they said the sensors were bad so they replaced them. After I got it back again, the panels on my door were damaged along with my wheel covers. Now my tire is losing air so I will bring it back to another store because I refuse to let this store even look at my vehicle.

The guys on transit provided me with a second opinion on my car which was quite lower than the repair shop down the street. The guys informed me that on the other quote the tires were the wrong size. These guys were professional and knowledgeable. Nice work.

Beware!!!! Last July 2021 my husband brought his car there for an annual inspection. The mechanic told my husband he needed brakes and the ones on the car would probably last about 2 weeks. My husband who is very conscientious and knowledgeable about taking care of his car refused the mechanics offer of new brakes. Today July 28,2022 after the annual inspection he received a “clean bill of health” with no mention of faulty brakes. He has been riding with the same brakes for a year with still no indication of needing new ones. This was a perfect example of a dishonest mechanic and unfortunately one who gives mechanics a bad name.I would caution Goodyear management that if this mechanic is dishonest with customers, he might be just as dishonest with his employer.Just an update 9/20/23 my husband’s car was in for the yearly inspection now 2 years after being told by Goodyear mechanic that he needed brakes asap.Once again no mention of brakes needing replacement. WOW!!!! Did we dodge a bullet not taking that mechanic’s dire warning!

Fortunately, no permanent damage was done to my engine, and Goodyear reimbursed the cost of tow and rental. However, I will get any future work done at the dealership.

Do not bring your car here. It’ll come out worse than it came in. Took 4+ hours for an inspection just to fail and be told that there are 800 things wrong with your car…things that weren’t wrong before. Took car to another shop just for them to tell us that we should not have failed and that most things we were told were not true….. beware!

This was one of the worst "shopping" experiences I have ever had. I had an appt at 11am, I get to this location at 10:50, my paperwork gets done,I give them my keys and 10 min later the counter guy comes over and says I'm sorry sir, but we have three cars left from yesterday to still get to so we will be run ing about 2-3 hours behind. Can you being it back between 1 and 2 pm. I shot up at 2 and they tell me my car won't get in for 2 tires until 3 pm. At 4:30 pm I finally leave with 2 tires. It gets better. After reviewing my bill, I ask if the car needed and alignment. And the counter guy explains that they aren't able to do any alignments or check them because their tanks are empty. SERIOUSLY. WHAT A JOKE. POORLY MANAGED FACILITY, AWFUL, NO DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. .

I just wanted an inspection. My one year old truck failed over a wiper blade. I was told they didn’t have any in stock. So Jeff the sales guy tells me TO WALK A HALF MILE ROUND TRIP TO A PARTS STORE TO GET WIPERS! ITS 40F OUTSIDE! I ASK FOR MY KEYS SO I CAN DRIVE THERE. HE WONT GIVE THEM TO ME AT FIRST BECAUSE HE REMOVED MY INSPECTION STICKER THAT WASN'T PAST DUE. THEN IM TOLD I CAN USE MY TRUCK BUT WHEN I RETURN IM GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER INSPECTION, AND WAIT ANOTHER HOUR FOR IT TO BE DONE! THIS SO UNBELIEVABLE. WOULD THEY HAVE ASKED AN ELDERLY MAN, OR WOMEN TO DO THIS? WHY DIDN'T MY SERVICE TECH. USE A COMPANY CAR TO GO GET THEM. LUCKLY IT WASN'T RAINING OR SNOWING. I just can’t believe that I the customer had to go get my parts on foot, how can you have the balls to ask a customer to do that?
