I got my granddaughter to go to the child watch and she refuses every time so I spoke to Lyn and she helped me by taking her by her hand. She was very professional yet compassionate with her! I would give Lyn, Melissa, Jennifer, and Mariyah 5 stars. Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I spoke with someone on the phone that was very rudeI travel for work and was seeking relief for pain in the hot tub. The guy insisted that there is not day pass at the YMCA. I've been using day passes at the YMCA for 5 years in places like Long Island, OKC and Jonesboro just to name a few. I am aware that there is an option for membership but for me, in Buffalo there is no option.

Joined for one month and got a staph infection/mrsa in my nose .this facility is very dirty. Had to take heavy round of antibiotics to get rid of. Too many ppl using the pool, sauna dry& wet, whirlpool. Not being properly disinfected and sanitized. Rude members who monopolize equipment and areas. Gross community locker rooms. A terrible experience. The state should step in and regulate the uses of these communal amenities. Esp the pool area. canceled my membership!

Health/Hygiene issues at this location. Babies in swimming diapers are allowed in the large pool, even though there is a special childrens pool at this location, which can be emptied or drained more easily if one of these babies has a “load”:in their diaper. Rules are not followed by instructors /life guards who could easily redirect these families to the childrens pool. No one want to swim in a pee saturated pool!

Extremely unprofessional staff who were rude to my younger cousins and brothers while visiting the Williamsville Independent Health branch YMCA.Greg Larson District Vice President will never return a call or voicemail even when he sends an employee(Trevor) to promise he will give you a call. At the Ymca on Belmont they do not have his contact information or business cards available and I was told to call the Williamsville location when I was there at the Belmont location in person. Don’t pay the overpriced family plan membership cost as you can bring your family to a much nicer local gym for a fraction of the cost.

Just joined the Y. I am looking forward to starting down the road to a healthier me. I was amazed at all the equipment they have in addition to an indoor running track, basketball court, pool, hot tub and sauna. The locker rooms are clean and well maintained. The only thing missing is a juice and coffee bar. I will put that in the suggestion box.

Great facilities. The pool, open gym, locker rooms, saunas, and class spaces are always clean.Friendly staff. Lots of classes throughout the week. And even though it’s almost always busy, it never seems crowded.Best gym in town: hands down.

This place has a vision for excellence and must have some really high quality management in place. Staff is friendly, Gym is fully equipped, and the child care allows us to make our wellness a top priority. Well don YMCA!Plus Mikey the lifeguard always goes above and beyond to make our experience a great one!

Robin was really funny and sweet upon arrival. I just needed a quick payment towards my son's summer camp. I used my Independent Health ( Extras) Card. It was covered ! I have completely forgotten that benefit until Trevor mentioned it to me a few weeks ago! The staff is awesome! They are patient, helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs! Love coming here to work out as well.

After an incredible first time experience with my partner I can say that this Y just feels like home! Bustling with tons of activities and great facilities it is my favorite YMCA to come to in Erie County. It felt accepting, diverse, and family oriented.

My son has been a member here for 8 months and it's been a good experience. He joined to use the basketball courts when the weather is bad or when his friends are there. Now he did have an incident in which someone stole his basketball when he left it unattended in the court to play in a game, but YMCA was kind enough to offer him another ball. Unfortunately, none that they had met his needs. But it was a very kind gesture and not the gyms fault that it happened - the blame lays with whoever stole it. My son now writes his name in big letters on his basketballs. I have also participated in 2 volunteer opportunities myself which were very fulfilling. Today, I toured the facility for myself as I will be eligible for a free membership through my insurance starting in august. I will certainly be joining! Greg Larson gave me the tour and did a great job showing me everything and answering all of my questions. They have courts, studios for classes, plenty of traditional gym equipment (cardio has TVs attached with nice sized screens with live tv and even Netflix! And you can use Bluetooth headphones with them!), there's an indoor track, 2 pools, a whirlpool, sauna, 3 locker rooms (mens, womens, community), personal trainers, on site physical therapy, etc. I am looking forward to joining this gym when my benefits kick in!
