Worst customer service. First refrigerator gets delievered damaged. Basically beg to have them bring me another that day being my only day off. Second fridge also comes damaged. Then they have the audacity to act like it's their inconvenience for delivering damaged goods. Wouldn't even negotiate a discount for the terrible service. All they offer is an "I'm sorry". Trying to support a local business just to get treated like a 2nd rate customer. Don't be fooled they are trying to pass off damaged goods to the consumer as brand new. Very suspect. And it is not the first time I have had damaged appliances delivered from them. Yeah we will not be doing any more business in the future. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

A little over one year ago I purchased a 20 cu ft Frigidaire Freezer from Orville’s with a 5 year extended warranty. It failed and I lost 500-700 dollars in food due to a “warped door”. Now Orville’s and New Leaf Warranty Company tell me that that is not covered! Its terrible service is borderline fraud! Don’t buy from Orville’s . Or at least don’t trust the “extended warranty”!

Don't expect to get repair warranty issues resolved in a timely manner . Alot of passing the buck . On phone 2 hours between their contracted repair service then to mfg. LG .It was a joke

Bought a fridge from them. The smallest that you could buy because I live in an apartment. They were made known they had to go upstairs for the delivery. Came for delievery and the guys said they can't do it. Because they had to lift it over a partial wall which was the space above the stairs where it was open. It's only around 2 ft up. I was then told that I had to contact the company that can do it but it is an extra charge. I went into Oreville's and the store manager gave me a number to call. I was told the delivery guys were supposed to set up the new delivery. I called and called. Left voicemails but no answers. Then I call orevilles to complain. The manager gave me two names saying they would know my situation. They told me they never heard of this until I was just telling them. Horrible lack of communication.
Chris said he'd try and set up an appointment with the other company. That it wasn't my issue to begin with. Then I was told it would be an extra $150 delivery. Even though I paid $100 for the first delivery that was canceled. I asked for my first delivery to be refunded. They said they would but it had to be in check even though I paid cash. The check could take up to 2 weeks to be mailed. Yet they are 5 mins down the road from me... so i asked if I could pick up the check. I was told I could next week. I was told that the store didn't have $100 cash to give back to me. How does a store not have cash to refund what they couldnt do or make right?
I only paid $399 for this stupid fridge. Yet had to pay $100 for the first delivery and $150 for the second one. Doubt they'll even mail me my $100. Seems pretty crooked to me. I went over a week and a half without a fridge and nobody seemed to care or want to work fast on this issue. When I complained they wanted to give me a compelte refund and cancel my fridge. I just wanted my fridge to be delivered like it was supposed to in the first place. Get stronger delivery guys. Because this whole situation was and is ridiculous.

The purchasing of my new appliance package is not the issue, it's the delivery of it that I find extremely inconvenient. The fridge and stove were delivered around 9:30 as stated. The dishwasher has still not arrived and it's after 3 o'clock. Waiting around like this is unacceptable. 6 hours or more later.... and then it still needs to be installed. I'm not a happy customer right now.

We recently had to purchase a refrigerator and the sales rep, Brandon Velasquez was so helpful, professional and knowledgeable about all the brands we were inquiring on. When it came time for delivery, the delivery drivers were just as professional as Brandon. This is what we have come to expect at Orville's. Thank you for your service

Bought a dishwasher 2/16/23. Hasn't worked last three months. I paid for a full warranty on it through Orville's paid $876 for everything taxes warranty and the unit. After two visits from repair companies and the claim being denied to be paid by the warranty company. They called me and said they can only offer me $308 as a store credit to Orville's. Biggest scam company out there. Do not buy anything from Orville's. The warranty was $130 and best they can do is a store credit of $308? Dishwashers should last longer than a year and a half. Take your business elsewhere.

I will never go back to Orville’s, and I’ll make sure my family and friends and whoever I know will never shop at Orville’s. Consider yourself a lucky person if your appliances don’t break . But if they do, it’s gonna be a nightmare. They don’t care about the customer, and their extended warranty called new leaf is bunch of scammers. my fridge broke June 17, 2024,( two years of service) it’s August 28 and I don’t have working fridge yet. The repair service that new leaf provides is awful , weeks of waiting For somebody to come out. It has been repaired three times already, and it keeps breaking after few days later. orville’s will not send their technician to look at the fridge. You can only imagine being with our fridge through the whole summer, and nobody cares. Awful service, I am about to bring that refrigerator to their doorstep and just leave it there. Save yourself from stress, and experience of not having working appliance, don’t shop at Orville, and run away from their extended warranty (New Leaf) that do nothing to help you.

My experience with the employees at Orville's Home Appliances was highly positive. I had just finished dealing with a disappointing experience at a major appliance store, so I was a bit desperate for a solution. My dryer had stopped working, and I urgently needed a new refrigerator and dryer.
When I visited Orville's, I was assisted by Lisa, who graciously helped us find the right size refrigerator and dryer within our budget. Although I didn’t make a purchase that day, I returned the following day by myself. Lisa wasn’t available, and I was concerned about making a purchase with someone else. However, having worked in retail myself, I understand how important it is for a salesperson to close the sale, but Lisa had never pressured us.
Instead, I had the pleasure of meeting Craig, who reassured me that he would ensure the sale would be credited to Lisa. His ethical approach and genuine care left a lasting impression on me. The delivery happened the next day, and I was amazed at how quickly they could get the items to my house.
Jimmy and his partner delivered the items on time and took exceptional care during the process. They were pleasant, professional, respectful, and patient throughout the delivery.
I am so grateful to have listened to my brother’s recommendation of Orville’s service. I highly recommend anyone to visit Orville’s on Amherst NY and ask for Lisa and Craig. They truly care and will take excellent care of you!
