Based on other reviews I’m not alone in my feelings on this location. I got here just after opening. The nurse has called 1 person back in a half hour. When I first came to this location 2 years ago they were able to get people in and out amazingly quick but it seems they’re now hiring people who got an honorary phlebotomy/nursing degree rather than people who are actually skilled and know what they’re doing. This place is an absolute joke.

The worst quest location, I was there at 10:30 signed then at 10:40 they said they not excepting new sign in after waiting U asked then she was really rude

I arrived at 1:50p today; hours listed on the front door say they are open until 2p. The front doors were locked, 2 employees were inside, yet no one answered my knocking nor phone call to the location. Sad!

Amazing experience! Didn't have an appointment but was still seen within 5 min of arriving (although this definitely depends on how busy they are at the time). I recommend coming in the morning (around 7 am) when they are less busy if you are a walk in. Phlebotomist was amazing at her job and got my vein the first time (I have tricky veins). Was also very pleasant and nice!

Absolutely the worst Quest I have ever been to. Waited 1 1/2 hours. And at 1:45 pm ( closes at 2 pm ) the technician announced she would not been seeing any more customers. I was the only one left! She spent more time telling me why she couldn’t service me rather than do her job. She was able to find the time laughing with her coworkers and carrying on long conversation.

This is the most poorly run Quest I have ever experienced. If you don't have an appointment don't bother coming to this location. Other Quest locations will fit walk ins between appointments. This location will not and a staff member admitted to same. After waiting an hour, there will still 4 people ahead of me. Not a single walk in had been called since I arrived, right around the time they opened.

Horrible experience. Only 2 people working so the wait time was extremely long. The girl with long brown hair with purple highlights was extremely rude with a lady that didn’t correctly put a drop off in the computer correctly. They need to work on their attitudes at this location. If they don’t like their job work somewhere else.

Made an appointment for 10:05. Checked in at 10:00 and waited for over 30 minutes with 3 other appointments after me 6 people on a standby list and I heard 3 different voices in the back laughing and having a good time. I would recommend making an appointment at any other quest location.

If you want a reasonable wait and courteous service go to a different location. I waited over an hour. I knew I was a walk in but only 5 people were in and out within that hour, and I’ve never had an issue with other locations. There were two people working, one who was brash, but I guess at least she did it with a smile and nice tone? I had to get a sitter to get my blood drawn and finally had to leave. I tried to flag someone down before I left since 20 minutes had gone by after the last person had left and no one had been called back. They were both in an exam room talking and laughing during that time. Both of them looked at me as I tried to wave and catch their attention and they both walked a different direction and ignored me.

I recently had the occasion to visit the Quest location at Millersport and Sheridan Drive in Amherst. My appointment was for 2:20pm, I was called after 3pm. Let me mention, I have visited This location Many times previously, Having had exceptional service with extremely pleasant phlebotomists. This time however, was not the case. I was directed to a person named Karen. To say that she was rude would be an understatement. Every single part of my interaction with her, Her tone was sharp, And unpleasant. When I requested that she please forward my blood work results to my personal physician as well as my retina specialist, She told me that she would not do that. I told her that I had had it done in the past with no problem. She proceeded to tell me I would have to sign special papers, Which I was well aware of, But I would have to provide her with the fax numbers of the doctors. I am sure that Quest Diagnostic has all these fax numbers, as they've done this in the past. In my opinion, She was trying to be difficult purposely.I will definitely return to Quest, But will absolutely not have a blood draw by Karen again. I understand they were understaffed that day and extremely busy. However, her attitude was beyond rude. I would like to speak with someone from Quest home office, or the office manager for that location. Please email me when possible. In closing, Quest has always been a great place to get your blood test .

This place is very very slow, the appointments are a joke, waiting a 1/2 hr. after appointment time, on multiple occasions.

I found it to be a horrible experience, I made an appointment had the confirmation number my husband and I a week prior to going today and I was told by a computer because God forbid if there's a human to talk to you. I was told by a computer that I did not exist, me and my husband. And an elderly couple in front of us and I felt very horrible for and I tried to help but of course they had their confirmation number too. I found the experience to be so unprofessional horrible and nothing kind and or compassionate about the experience they should close and never come back again. I will never go there again in this lifetime or my next it was a horrible experience and it sucked

Quest should have called or texted me that they canceled my appointment!!! They closed this location but didn’t think they should help me reschedule. I have been making appointments well in advance for as long as I’ve had the MyQuest app. Unfortunately I did not look at the email sent a few days before. Of course it was a reminder of my up coming appointment, I thought.No I was canceled. Now there is no staff for walk ins!! The staff that does show up (does not call off) are wonderful. They deserve bonus. I am extremely disappointed with how I was handled. I’ve been waiting an hour so far as a walk in. Will probably be here till noon by the looks of the appointments showing on the TV screen here!

I had a great experience there today. The facility was super clean. My appointment was right on time and my phlebotomist Rachel was fantastic. She was caring and went the extra mile. I had anxiety and she suggested we go in the room with the reclining chair so it would be a better experience for me. I feel like I will no longer be stressed about getting bloodwork done. Thank you!

I gave 5 stars when it 1st opened. Now it's like all the other locations. Make appt 3 weeks in advance, arrive 10 minutes early, get in 10-15 minutes late of appt. Too bad. I have been there 2 times since my negative review and they are great.
