I am glad I am not the only one who feels like they are stalked when you are shopping here, I will no longer shop here will buy my hair products elsewhere.

The older female employees at this store specifically (Amherst NY), and even more specifically, those working today at approximately 1PM, make me feel uncomfortable shopping here.More specifically, they make sure you are hounded so you can’t walk around and make a decision, they stay on you - probably to prevent theft. I’ve literally shopped here DOZENS of time and have NEVER once stolen anything. This behavior is uncalled for.What they don’t realize when crawling up my butt is that the moment they do that they are losing money from me. I always spend WAY more when I’m comfortable. Maybe I should be thankful, but I’m bitterly annoyed.This would be a better store without the disrespect. I will probably stop coming to this location because I’m done being treated like this.2 stars just cause I like the products.

Great customer service with all the ladies. Easy to find products I need. Clean and very organized store. We went there yesterday and Mary was great with helping us especially with answering all the questions we had about different products.

Every Sallys is always so helpful. Thr employees really help you. I am new to dying my hair and she took the time to explore several hair care options and let me ask her a dozen questions without showing annoyed ir impatient. Its why I always go therr when I need something or want something new.

Very similar to the Union Rd location, you will find allsorts of hair and nail products. Sure, other stores may sell a few of the same things. But what makes Sally's different is, this place sales professional grade items. Many barbers and salon place, come here for their materials. Sally's other curlers, clippers, eyelashes, perm kits, nail polish, and etc. Again, all professional grade quality and and name brands. Sally's even offers discounts, to barbers and salon employees. Sign up for their email club, and you get receive coupon codes and other promotions as well.

I am slightly ambivalent about Sally's. On one hand, they have many affordable products of good or decent quality. Combine that with their sales, and shopping for beauty supplies at Sally's can really be the way to go. Also, the staff are friendly, and they are willing to answer questions and be helpful. On the other hand, after three trips to Sally's to find products to add purple tint to my hair, buy the products recommended by the staff, only to end up with disappointing results, come back, return product and try something else... My hair is still more red than purple at this point. My impression at this point is that the staff at Sally's know what they know. If you're someone who comes in with zero knowledge hoping for consultation, you may end up with repeat disappointments. The good thing is that Sally's does have a customer friendly return policy.

I stop in a few times a year to pick up product my stylist recommends. The staff is super friendly and helpful! I love the advice and suggestions they give when a total fish out of water, like me comes in and asks. This visit I found out that my product hasn't been restocked in a while and was told that usually means a phase out. Ugh! Well don't you know the super cute staff member took the time to point out a similar product from the same line. Awesome customer service.

Not please with this place at all. Trying to go from my natural hair color of brown to a little grey/purple. I've bleached my hair three times and the red from previous dyes will NOT come out. I've asked for help and all they've done is feed me lies. My hair is now orange with deep grey roots. Never going back to this one.
