The mail person delivers my neighbors mail to my box almost everyday i even put our names on the mailbox nd told him only my son and myself lives here and still I get other people mail they delivered a check I was waiting on to my neighbors luckily we are friends today I get two checks in my mailbox belonging to my neighbors I was so pissed to find out my money didn't get delivered to MY MAILBOX I know the neighbors are going to asking questions about delivery also its a mess please get it together

I came here 9/3/24 to apply for my first ever passport. the workers were helpful and attended to me quickly. I paid for regular routine service and received my passport in the mail 9/16/24 (less than 2 weeks non expedited!!) I then received my birth certificate in the mail 9/19/24. this was such an easy and quick process and I appreciate the workers at this post office who helped out!

There is a postman, who is keeping my mail, the notification says that it is delivered, and he/she won't let it go, there are already 4, curiously they are collectible bills, which I acquired at auction, the postman of this day 05/07/ 2024 Madison Ave Amityville... I don’t understand why some people made bad comments. I’m glad USPS is still around to compete the private companies like UPS and FedEx. Some people are stupid to even say such complaints. I use USPS service often. They are always helpful and considerate. Listen customers , sometimes you are the problem. Some people have high expectations, they want high class mail service and a happy ending too for the price of a pack of peanuts.

This is AN AMAZING post office and the workers are very kind, dedicated, loyal and faithful. I’ve never had one problem here and they are very kind. The other day they noticed that I had delivered a lot of packages and gave me some free shipping envelopes to assist with our growing business.They truly care about the packages and the persons that they serve. Enjoy them.

Our regular mail person left over 2 years ago. Mail delivery is awful ever since. 2 years of mail after 6:30 pm some times 7pm! Awful service, do better!

I have been using this post office for the past 23 years and in that time I have never had a bad experience with the postal clerks. In this period I have sent mail/ packages and applied for my passport and only experienced professionalism and courteous service. As far as the negative reviews are concerned, the problem is most likely caused by a complete misunderstanding on how the postal system works, not with the workers themselves.

I usually don't write reviews unless I feel like I need to. I try my best not to come to this post office because it is always unpleasant. I'm not sure how the tall older white man is still working here because he is so rude. He's the main reason I stopped going here. I went today and there was an older man upset about his letter being lost and stated how incompetent this post office was. I couldn't agree more but didn't want to partake because I was trying to give good vibes to receive good vibes but that didn't work. The lady (didn't get her name) completely disregarded me, with a very undermining tone. She sent me back to fill out the address and change the packaging - I was okay with this but how you talk to people matters. As I was doing that, the older white man asked another lady standing there if she needed help. She stated she was waiting for the guy that does passports and he started to try and help her. I say try because he just started crossing stuff off, making her upset. She asked why he had to make things difficult and why he always has to give her a hard time. (I'm like okay, I'm not the only one!) They started going back and forth which is rude because as a customer service representative, we all know the customer is always right! I try to avoid him anytime I come here. Neah finished helping me today and she was super nice!! 10/10 customer service! The short guy who handles the passports is also very nice!

I went to this postal office to get my new passport ,because is near to my job.I had read the comments about the workers in this office, I was some concern, I arrived 10 min early and waited for my turn in line, a very kind woman checked my documents out and gave my papers to a very nice young man ,who filled out my form.....even the tall white hair muscle man was kind when he charged me the fees... so everyone was very kind and attended me quickly... I think we all have good days and bad days.
