They really deserve 0 stars. I went in to get my oil changed, first the guy tried to get me to buy new wipers I didn’t need, he said my current wipers leave the car streaky which they do not, they are brand new blades. After I leave I get an inductor light telling me I have a light bulb out then it went away then it can back on, almost like the bulb was loose. So I went back and they changed the bulb because I told them that in the paper work they said my bulbs were fine, later that afternoon my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air, I brought to my real mechanic and it cost me $314.00 to be repaired. Now thaws things could be flukes but I just think it’s suspect. I will never go there again.

This place is a joke, brought my electric car here for an inspection and this overweight gift to humanity walked out to my car just looking at it and walked right back inside and said I can’t pass your inspection because you have after market tint, I said it’s just window tint and it’s not that dark plus you didn’t even put a machine on it to test it, he said ohh I can tell , I know… ohh here we go another know it all that does not need a machine that you need to use by state law to test tint.. what a joke!! My wife and I will never come here again and neither will our friends!! What a joke… the tint is not even that bad!! He looked like a bum and looked hungover but hey that’s not on me to judge just like it’s not on him to judge my tint without a tint reader!!!!! So mad !! But anyway I got my inspection done by a professional place after and passed.. do not go here to Adirondack lube express in Amsterdam they use emotion and ego instead of law and rules.
How about using the machine you are suppose to use instead of ego?? Like I said I passed inspection no problem at the next place I went and they used a tint machine and it passed and told me don’t know why they said what they said.. I told them just hicks with egos

It was my first time going here. I went for a NYSI and the team was great. I’m grateful for their service and wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

I called the Amsterdam location late in the afternoon in a panic after realizing my NYS inspection had expired. Prior to calling Adirondack, I had tried at least 8 other places to see if they could get me in, and was given appointment times a week or more out. These guys got me in with no wait, no appointment, and were a pleasure to do business with. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. We even had a few laughs before I drove off fully inspected. I would HIGHLY recommend this honest, knowledgeable and friendly group of guys. I will be back for all of my car repair/inspection needs.

I had used them a few times for oil changes with out a problem but took my car to them to get inspected and was told I needed work major work done that did not need to be done.I had another garage check my car as well as a relative who is a retired master mechanic who took pictures to show nothing was wrong. Went back and confronted them and they denied it and refused to look at the video showing nothing was wrong or would discuss it so I filed a complaint with DMV who did a very thorough investigation and found my complaint was valid and informed me they would be contacting them to impose a fine.I will not give them the chance to be dishonest and try to scam me again.
