I don't believe the staff in Amsterdam are qualified, knowledgeable, Informed or polite. In their defense, most of Amsterdam is like that. I was repeatedly given misinformation. luckily they're not too big to fail because if the whole operation is running like the Amsterdam branch....it won't be long

Terrible website. Consistently locked out of account even when entering correct password. Deposits still require deposit slips like it's the 1970s. Don't use this bank

Don't know what the other person is talking about. Great bank, service, and with their app/online you never really need to go into the bank. Plus, if not happy with the bank then go to another one

This is the worst bank that I've ever dealt with. Along with fees for nearly everything including checking, money transfers, and many other services that nearly every bank now offers for free, this particular branch is understaffed. It's more common than not to see only one girl working behind the counter taking care of lobby customers and drive through customers. It took me over 10 minutes to make a simple deposit because there was one person in front of me inside and a car at the drive thru. When Berkshire bank took over Bank of America they removed bank of Americas high-tech ATM which allowed you to make cash and check deposits easily. Their website and mobile apps are inferior and underdeveloped. They are constantly pushing their credit card and other account options on me even though I refuse them every time. Their credit card offer is garbage. They try to lure you in with a zero percent interest rate for the first 6 months but go ahead and read for yourself what happens after 6 months. Only an idiot would accept this type of credit card. Everything is wrong with this bank. Everything from their interest rates, to their ridiculous fees , down to the very simple details like the disgusting gold and green color scheme they use. If I'm going to be forced to wait in line for 10 or 15 minutes to make a simple transaction, I would like to believe that I'm standing in a room that was decorated at least within the last century. I'm not saying that the girls that work behind the counter are incompetent or slow or anything other than very pleasant and nice people. They're awfully pushy, but overall very nice and are not at fault for the bank being understaffed. If you like wasting your time and money then this is the bank for you. If high interest rates, excessive fees, and slow service are what you're into, then this bank is for you. In other words, if you are complete idiot, or are a leech of the government and don't really work for your money, then this is probably a wonderful place to bank. If you have anything other than water in your head then I would suggest banking elsewhere. This place stinks on ice.
