“An almost perfect experience.

Old man introduced me to this spot last year, and now I've finally decided to come back and get my two cents in on the offerings. I like to buy some baked goods for the weekend as a little treat, and last time we stopped by they were bulging with selection.

Sadly my visit did not see the same results, the picking were slim, and what they did have had chocolate in it. (I can't eat the stuff) But I was able to nab a few cookies and some ice cream, good enough! Total coming to $30, which is a little pricy, but that is to be expected from farm to table spots like this. You pay a premium for better quality.

Had the pink velvet cookie that Friday, which looked like a piece of art, and had a good flavor. A little ice cream on the side as well, with a very pleasant banana and vanilla flavor. So far I was impressed. I did hope they would have those rice crispy treats available, but they were totally out. But the fancy cookie was doing it for me.

Saturday came and I sought to try the party cake cookie, but much to my dismay, the ingredients failed to note the presence of M&Ms. I'm guessing they must have tossed them in to use up leftovers, but failed to update the ingredients list. Disappointed, I switched over to the creamsicle cookie which luckily did not have any unlisted ingredients, and it also tasted like a Goodhumor ice cream bar. (sans the texture)

Overall I'd say this was closer to a 4.0 out of 10, given they lacked selection (probably just been busy and my timing was off), and one of the purchases did not properly list what was in it and I can not eat it because of that. But I'm bumping that up to a 4.5 out of 10 (which rounds out to a 5, because google does not allow half stars), simply because I liked the nuance of the place.”
