We are surprised by the negative comments about this post office. We were here 10 days ago to send a parcel overseas and was highly taken up by the prompt, courteous service of the staff.Back again today to send boxes out of state, and exceptional service once again by John and the lady under training.. Way to go usps Amsterdam!

No consistency to lobby hours. I have to get the office mail but I can only get it a couple times a week because the lobby doors will be locked for now after lobby hours start. Lobby opens at 0630. I usually stop by around 0800. No excuse. No sign. No pattern. Just randomly locked. We’re trying to run a business.

I would give a negative star. Some of these mail carriers are horrendous. I get mail for other people several blocks away. (With nothing being similar in the names or addresses). Even had one piece of mail that was supposed to go to a city 30min away. Unfortunately we still need the post office, but it's dying out. (Still waiting for a letter that has been mailed to me twice)

This post office has one of the most incompetent, lazy mail carriers I have ever seen. I have been expecting important health insurance letters and other important documents for my child and it has been at least a month since I have seen any mail. I KNOW I am to be recieving these documents because I get emails telling me that my stuff was sent back to the post office or delivered and I see absolutely NOTHING in the mailbox. I have also witnessed this particular mailman park in front of the house and purposely SKIP our address after recieving emails that my stuff was delivered. He has been reported multiple times and nothing is done because this post office clearly doesn't care. Ridiculous.Update: Complained yet again and was given numerous excuses and then blame placed on someone else in the household because "he wouldn't do that." Have some accountability because it clearly isn't just this household dealing with the same issue!

Live on lyon st. Carrier never leaves mail after being caught throwing package on porch. Will be speaking yo a higher up to get this resolved

Something needs to be done about the mail carrier Tom, who delivers mail in Mason Ave, Mathias Ave area. We have had NUMEROUS subscription packages that state they are delivered on the dashboard that never arrive. We receive mail addressed to other people at least every other day. Then you try to contact the Postal Service to be told "Oh, you need to file a complaint." People pay alot of money, for things, and put alot of trust into the Postal Service. And the fact that this man, although we have complained about him hundreds of times, is still allowed to deliver (or rather screw up) mail in the City is disgusting. He needs to be terminated because he clearly lacks the skills to do an important job properly.

I'm missing mail ALL the timeI would have given zero stars but I had to pick one to leave a review. I'll use UPS and FedEx to mail anything because if it gets to the destination it shows up months later.Worst post office EVER!!

I received my package on time, but the problem was how I got my package. When I opened the package my succulents were damaged and the soil was all over the place. There's even in big, bold lettering "HELP ME, I'M UPSIDE DOWN" message on the box.... Luckily they can be saved.... Not the first time this has happened though....

This USPS is always out of something. Last 2 times there are no padded priority flat rate envelopes in stock. Be prepared!

First I’d like to say I was being helped by an older Woman and said that she could not tape my box with the priority tape, and just to be clear , I was shipping priority as well. I would have to buy my own tape. Had I known that I would of taped it at home. Very disappointed in the customer service . She said the post office does not do that. And I know for a fact they do. Cause of past shipping. So close to closing time 4:25pm and to turn me away because I had to buy tape to seal my boxes, maybe alittle compassion Would of been deeply appreciated and I would of next time come with my packages taped up. Poor customer service on her part. Would rather go UPS then go back there for any more of my shipping.
