I stood in line for 5 mins , rang bell yelled hello. The people in the back were so load telling stories, swearing . And then when someone came out they said Oh sorry I'm alone bk here , really who were u talking to?There were 3 different voices .Very disturbed with the F bomb being used as my 6 yr old listened. Postal workers need to step it up .

This Post Office is quite bad as far as customer service. My carrier has on several occasions left a PS Form 3849 in my mailbox stating that they were unable to deliver my package. On the Form the carrier never fills in the reason why they couldn't deliver the package. Such as signature required etc.. The latest today was for a back issue magazine worth about $12.00. So, I doubt there was any valid reason for not delivering it to my mail box. So this delays my mail an extra day or two. I am not going to pick up my mail at the Post Office when i have paid shipping fees to my house. Complained about this several times and it still happens. As Mark D. commented a totally dysfunctional Post Office.

Sure wish the clerk working the counter was more pleasant. He seems like customers are an inconvenience. Very poor customer relations. Thought the first time he was just having a "bad" day, but he is like that every time I go to the counter.

This place is by far the most dysfunctional post office I have ever been to. From getting other people's mail, to not getting my mail for weeks because they hold my mail for no reason. I have to pickup my mail and tell the same worker multiple times to not hold. I may move just to get away from this incredibly absurd place.

I don't know if it's some weird mail room numbers situation, laziness or what, but I'm tired of getting the "unable to access delivery location/mailbox inaccessible line on my package trackers. This is the 3rd time I've recieved this notice and there is never anything blocking my mailbox or door and somehow I still received my REGULAR mail that same day in all 3 instances. Even other packages with the regular mail. I once watched a postal carrier deliver my regular mail and then the package i was suppose to get that same day through them, updated with the inaccessible mailbox line. Its really frustrating! If it's a numbers thing, just say that. If it's laziness, fix that . Please do better.

UPDATE: 6-18-21 - another package marked as "delivered to the reaidence's mailbox" when security cam footage shows proof the mail carrier never even turned down the street. It's a 50/50 chance on Amazon packages if the carrier will arbitrarily mark the delivery as "can't gain access to the front porch" of a house with a thirty foot driveway and an 8ft front walk. I don't know what's going on at this location, but the mail carrier is blatantly lying and there's no way to get to a live person or contact the local post office. If the prospect of 'the carrier lies on my deliveries' is true, which it clearly is in this case, then they probably do it to other people, too. USPS should take more pride in their service and fire the mail carrier responsible for deliveries in the Penn Ave/New St/Academy St area. This has happened 3 times since the original posting.EDIT - May 18th, 2021 - This has happened, again, 3 additional times since the original posting. When will the local post office acknowledge this breakdown in service?? when will they take accountability for the misconduct of their carriers?? Google reviews obviously do nothing, as no one 8w checking and addressing them.this is closing in on the point where we start to contact the federal government to ask them how they deal with such an obvious display of lying on federal record, a lazy and duplicitous approach on carrying out their mail delivery, and a blatant abandonment of the postal creed they are sworn to??these people are occupying, and receiving payment and health benefits for, legitimate jobs that most other americans would die to obtain. but the apalachin postal carriers are spitting in the face of that institution.again, this edit is being made on 3-18-21 at 1:31am, and I dare the staff of the apalachin post office to address these claims/issues within 24 hours. otherwise, I will escalate the matter to the federal government, as the apalachin postal carriers are obviously being paid for a job they do not fulfill and are operating under a management system that does not check, nor care, about how their carriers fulfill their employment requirements. period.

Carrier will deliver an Amazon package one day and the following day they won't/can't. They will not re-attempt, and only option for me is to take off work to pick up at the post office. It seems like it is every other order. My family is very frustrated with the service. Wish Amazon would use UPS/FedEX.

Staff doesnt care what you have to say as long as the line is moving. Have your package 100% ready to ship because they will offer zero assistance if you need any help or have any questions.

One of the few post offices in the area that are able to move lines in a timely manner. this location of the post office does offer photo copy's per print, stamps, boxes, tape etc. this location is also equipped outside with a letter drop box so you can drive up.
