Michelle, Susan and David have been absolutely wonderful.The apartment itself suits us perfectly and having the fitness center on our floor is incredibly convenient. The neighbors are friendly and we look forward to participating in all the community activities. Having moved from a house, it's also great having our own storage space in the garage.The high ceilings and almost floor to ceiling windows bring in a tremendous amount of light so it's always bright and cheery even on cloudy days.The proximity to all kinds of shopping and restaurants is tremendously convenient. We are just delighted that we made this move.”

“My wife and I lived at 15 Lake for two years. In hindsight, we were quite impressed.

Initially, we balked at the price of our apartment for the space we were renting; however, we got to meet some of the tenants, who told us quite candidly that this building was a nice place to live with nice people and good management. We agree. Additionally, when we renewed our lease, DeRosa raised our rent by only 2%; meaning that given the rising inflation, we were essentially paying less in Year 2!

The access to Turnure Park across the street was a lovely way to unwind after work/school. The cherry blossoms in the spring are positively stunning. My only regret is missing the festival that apparently never returned to the park, but I obviously do not blame DeRosa for that.

The inside of our building was pleasant, air conditioned, and quiet. Most importantly, it was clean. The only vermin issue we had in the two years living in our apartment was a single mouse, which was promptly taken care of. Otherwise, aside from the occasional spider, we lived without fear of infestation.

There were, however, two issues to consider. First, the laundry room. The price of doing laundry was rather high and the machines were not always operable. These conditions made for some frustrating laundry days.

Second, the elevator. In our final months living in our building, we found the inoperability of the elevator to be immensely frustrating. Moving out of our apartment was a difficult task; pushing the button for the ground floor did not guarantee that it would go to the ground floor, or any floor at all. In fact, none of the buttons worked as intended, and so we would often go on elevator rides of indefinite duration.

That said, we enjoyed our stay and would generally recommend renting here. The management company is responsive to work orders; the buildings are kept clean, cool, and quiet; and the rent is quite agreeable, especially for White Plains.”

“I have lived here for almost 14 years, after selling the big house.It is a lovely building: clean, with wide hallways, excellent property management (with Jude, the new Property Manager of the past 3 years), outstanding maintenance individuals ("MacGyvers" Sasha and Jorge), and kind and simpatico concierges and security personnel (All).And it is located in one of the best places in Bergen County: Downtown Englewood!You can walk out the front door and, anywhere you go (left or right) and get anything you want or need.You'll be most happy here if you like living in a vibrant, cool, diverse, safe town, just 18 miles from NYC.You'll be especially pleased if you like many different, interesting restaurants (for example, American, Italian, Thai, Poke, Vegetarian, Chick-Fil-A, McDonald's, Chipotle, Japanese, Korean, Colombian, Argentinian, Mexican, Jackson Hole and other Diners, Brazilian, Caribbean, French, Chinese, Pizzerias, and an incredible Gelato café, etc.) a wide host of retail stores (for example, Apple, Verizon, T-Mobile, dry cleaners, flower shops, coffee shops (including Starbucks and several other great ones), cupcake shops, shoe and tech repair stores, seasonal outdoor fruit and vegetable markets, many boutique clothing and jewelry stores for women and men), quite a few beautiful and well-attended houses of worship, 1 mile from Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, many doctors and doctor's offices, Pilates and Yoga studios, a spectacularly clean, big, well stocked and well-serviced Supermarket in the downtown (with plenty of parking), a downtown Performing Arts Center (BergenPac), beautiful homes, low-rise buildings, and the energy of a diverse little, tree-lined, many beautiful, green, Englewood parks, suburban city--the only one of its kind in Bergen County, and one of only a few in all of New Jersey.People of all ages and backgrounds live here.It is a very special building.Steve Rothman”

“We’ve been owners, and fulltime residents, here for 7 years and it’s awesome. We swim and use the gym 3-4 times/wk. We have the security and convenience of a 24 hr doorman. The gym, pool, racquetball court, games rm, parking, maintenance – all included in our monthly fee. Our kids have been in the Tuckahoe schools since 1st and 3rd grades and are thriving and top of their classes. [Btw, Tuckahoe schools are totally under-rated and have exceptional teachers and sports!] And we can be on the train platform in 5 minutes. (3 at a push – believe me, I’ve done it!) I’d challenge anyone to find what the Tower Club offers in security, convenience, cost and amenities elsewhere.”

“The Management and otherstaff are friendly and kind. I love the ambience of the place which I love to experience whenever I return from the bustle of work. However, I do have a serious issue with their electricity billing. I get billed the same amount (quite high) even if Im out of town or not. This is something they need to resolve.”

“5 months in, continue to love this place. Location is great, but what's more important and nicer is how much effort the staff and management take to make this an excellent place to live. The staff is very helpful, maintenance staff is very responsive. They have good community events every couple weeks which is a good way to socialize with the people staying here. Never regretted a single day picking this place. Oh, and get the right apartment and you will see fall colors everyday. It's perfect”
