Locals Surf School is a New York City based surf school offering lessons to all ages and all skill levels. Locals providing private, semi private and group lessons and a kids camp every week in the summer. The atmosphere is friendly and nonjudgemental. Instructors are patient, knowledgeable and attentive. Lessons are fun, supportive and personalised based on what you want develop. People get great tips on wave selection, safety and surf etiquette. Scheduling is super easy. My son had the best time surfing for the 1st time! His instructor was awesome, booking was easy, and I'm confident that my son is off to a great start with surfing! He even caught a few waves in his 1st session! We'll be back, for sure!

Great instructors!I took a begginer group class and despite the number of people we had a very personalised lesson. We learned not only to pop-up but safety and surf etiquette. Highly recommend!
