I came in to try to make an withdrawl. i lost my debit card so i needed to use my ID to pull money while i wait for my new one to come in the mail. The teller was extremely rude, i used my u.s passport as my ID, the same u.s passport i used to open the account in the first place. Not only was the teller extremely rude, she told me a passport is not valid form of ID even though this is a FEDERAL ID. I looked up citibanks ID policy and turns out they DO indeed accept a US passport as an valid form of ID. i even called customer service to triple check and they confirmed that a u.s passport IS a VALID form of ID. So means either A. the tellers here are incompetent, or B. The tellers don't wanna do their JOBS. Both of which are unacceptable. I went to the branch on 31st street and there was NO issue. So anyone by steinway? avoid. go to the branch on 31st instead.

Citibank is very very understaffed. Also, poorly managed in general. I might just switch over to Chase.

I went to ask about the student account package and the rep who helped me denied Citibank offers it, then I call Citibank and they confirmed they still offer it. Maybe I am being to harsh, but my experience was poor.
