Love their pharmacy hours. Open 23.5 hours/day, 7 days/week. They close for 30 mins for lunch everyday; I believe at 1:30 pm. Also love that dogs are allowed in, which has been so helpful! I can go pick up my prescriptions late at night without being nervous since I have my dog with me.

Maybe they can change that next time but I was told my meds would be ready in 10min,waiting more like 40min,apparently they don't call your name like the cvs on Steinway, they also don't offer you a bag just stand there. My meds had been ready they just didn't call me up. I then get 3 outta 4 meds they don't even tell me so I gg back(to a guy this time,he was cool). Originally it was the female w the brows(if you know you know) then I have to wait longer to transfer&suppose to deal w her again(gimme a min she says, slow taps on computer&I'm wondering is she purposely trying to have me wait)so I ended up leaving cause I'm gonna be late&felt she was gonna have me wait mad long. She's not like the usual cvs pharmacist I'm use to dealing with, maybe get someone new who has better costumer service&more on point, hopefully she was stoned. In there sick, coughing, want my inhaler&just bad experience.

The pharmacist claimed he couldn’t find my insurance and then tried to charge me over $500 for my medication. I had to wait 40 minutes for them to figure it out and when his boss looked it up, he found it in less than a minute. They gave me no apology and took no accountability whatsoever for their incompetence or wasting my time.

Employees are super helpful when I was there, but nearly everything is locked behind glass including toothpaste. The employees try to be super fast and they do their best but it's impossible to have good service there when everyone needs a case unlocked

This CVS has most makeup products I was looking for and they were not open or broken like in most stores. Parking is complicated in that area but I got lucky and found a spot after 8pm.

If people have a problem with this pharmacy, the problem is either them, or their insurance company (or lack thereof) bc this CVS is on the ball. I get 3 scripts filled a monthly basis and I have for the past 5 years. I have never had any interaction with this CVS that was not pleasant. I can not say much, they just do their jobs very well and have always been polite. If you happen to be looking for a pharmacy in Astoria, I doubt you can find a better one.

I never really ever have problems here with the employees but every time I come here to pick up any sort of prescription it is never ready. I’m not really sure why my prescriptions are always delaying. It seems to be a problem with other people as well because hearing on the line people saying oh it’s not ready and so on and so forth. The other annoying thing is that they don’t accept a lot of insurances. Obviously that isn’t the employees fault. It’s the company.

Autumn made my experience at the pharmacy an enjoyable one. She was polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

Terrible customer service. No communication on prescription status even if signed up for texts. Three weeks of calls full of 10 min of useless prompts before getting through to the pharmacy. Another 5 min on hold on every single call. System is down to verify insurance. Nationwide shortage of prescriptions. Blah. blah. blah. Don't call them ever. Show up and give them hell until you get your meds. That's the only way you'll get results. Throw hands if you must.

Drove 20 minutes and paid for parking to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy just to find out they closed early before their scheduled lunch break. Then when I pointed out that it wasn’t 1:30 pm yet, the lady laughed at me. Rude and unprofessional!

Every time I come here it's a saga. Pharmacy: after receiving notice that your medications are ready for pickup and waiting on line for however long it takes to reach a counter, be prepared for only some of your prescriptions to be available for pickup. You will then be redirected to the "consultation" window, where a different pharmacist will poke around in their computer then tell you that you'll need to wait ~20 minutes to pick up your remaining prescriptions, whereupon you'll return and have to deal with the pharmacists at the pickup counter still being unable to see the prescription in their computer, 10 feet away from the same consultation desk where the prescription was put in. Also, a few months ago they didn't have Rubbing Alcohol. What reputable pharmacy doesn't have rubbing alcohol? What century is this? Also also, be prepared for this pharmacy to routinely lack prescription medications when yours are called in, so good luck if it's a pill you need every day and don't have backups. Minute Clinic: I went here to have some stitches removed from my lower chin after passing out one night and landing on my face. The nurse/doctor/whatever in the office was super hedgy saying that she wasn't sure and that the wound was "too close to my eye" and that she was concerned about performing the procedure. When I had the stitches put in, the doctors in the ER told my wife that SHE could probably remove the the stitches because the procedure was one of the most basic and routine procedures, and gave her a kit to do so. The only reason I even came to the minute clinic was because I had a flight the next day and my wife was working. Needless to say, after the Minute Clinic practitioner told me that my chin was too close to my eye to perform the removal, I left and went down to CityMD where they laughed at how absurd the story was. Store: Everything is in glass cases. It's like shopping in Soviet Russia at the end of the Communist era. Want toothpaste? Push a button and wait for someone to come unlock the case they're all trapped in. Want a coke? Push a button and wait for someone to come unlock the case they're all trapped in. Deodorant? Body wash? Baby soap? All the same. The only things they don't keep locked away is the CVS brands of things, and I don't think I need to explain the logic behind that exclusion. I literally dread coming to this place. The only reason I haven't changed pharmacies is that I have long working hours and this place is open 24/7. But that's the only thing this place has going for it.

This centrally located chain drugstore is open 24 hours which is handy. But sometimes they are out of things such as seltzer while offering plenty of organic children's cough syrup (who knew there was such a thing?) and too much seasonal holiday candy. Lots of items are in secured cabinets (like lotions and beer). Surprisingly and mind-bogglingly, this CVS has an unlocked restroom available to shoppers. Certainly isn't the cheapest place, but it's convenient.

Everything is behind glass and key. Getting someone to open it takes a very long time. They close for 30 min at exactly the most convenient time (1:30-2) which forms a long line at 2pm (so not open 24 hours as claimed.

Horrible service, the girl who works in the pharmacy doesn’t have any respect, she talks to you in a nasty way I don’t recommending this pharmacy
