An accident waiting to happen. - I almost tripped yesterday while at this store exiting the dressing room after trying on a shirt.
I asked the employee with a black hair wearing a hat and blue jeans, why there’s a clothing rack and advised that there shouldn’t be one but her response was that I should know better to exit the other way. Obviously not appropriate answer while representing the company but she rolled her eyes after I told her she should tell customers. If someone falls and breaks a bone , that’s it for this remaining store.
I bought the shirt because I liked it but this experience keeps customers out of the store especially when customer service is absurd.
However, the girl that rang the purchase was nice and polite but some employees make everyone look bad.

Im never in this area and was happy to stop in especially with so many Express stores in NY being closed down. I always do my shopping online and can see why in-store shopping is dying and so many Express stores are being shut down. I was never greeted when I walked in (even though there was an associate right in front folding clothes). I was never asked once if I needed help. When I was ready to try on clothes I asked a young lady who worked there for the fitting room and she just pointed towards the back. I remember associates guiding you and even opening the door for you. Every fitting room was filthy and filled with clothes from the previous client who had tried on clothes. While trying on clothes I needed a smaller size but again there was no one around to ask for help. Not once did an associate stop by and asked if I needed anything. At that point I had to get dressed to go out and look for a smaller size. At that point I just walked out. Who ever manages that store is doing a terrible job and should train everyone there basic customer service skills.

As a loyal customer, I had a disappointing experience. The staff member, who was on her phone towards the end of the checkout process, was rude and unprofessional. She responded with attitude and refused to accept cash for the remaining 13 dollars. She insisted that the payment only be made on the express card.

Don’t shop at Express. Over priced and rude staff both in store and online. Definitely one of the worst return policies for clothing stores. Missed the return window by a few days and they wouldn’t even give me store credit. The items were still being sold in store at full mark up! What a horrible business model!

my experience was amazing with Clarisse, She went above and beyond with providing me the experience i never gotten at express stores. She smiled and helped me return an item as well as place an order at the store to be delivered at my house address. She helped me save time by avoiding calling customer support for this process. Im so happy you have such a wonderful associate at express. Best interaction ever!! 😊

My go to Express store.. they have great selections and awesome sales.. so far, from my experience, all sales associates have been very nice and helpful!

I just got out of the store so dissatisfying with an Asian guy I think he is Philippine he was so disrespectful, rude and lack of kindness. I was trying to ask him a question and he just ignored me like I was a piece of crap. I believe person like him can’t deal with polite people.

Reasonable prices, only issue was while doing inventory, most of the racks would be so full that it made it impossible to scan. Besides that very respectful.

Fitting rooms are co-ed, no locks on the doors, and unsupervised. As I was trying on clothes a male customer swung my door open without knocking. A second customer attempted to open my door but at that point I kept one hand on the door handle while trying to dress. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I left and bought a dress at Banana Republic across the street.
