One of the worst pharmacy in Astoria. I got my prescription drug here twice, first time they were so bad getting permission from my insurance company eventhough my insurance company fully authorized my prescription, it took them two days to process my order. Second time around, after waiting 2 days to fill an important antibiotic drug, main pharmacist abruptly handed me the prescription and told me that he can not help me and here is my prescription and adviced me to go to some other pharmacy. YES! I am NOT making this up. Not only they are unpleasant and does not greed you , they are also incompetent. Dont support and waste your time and money in this horrible establishment and go somewhere else. This pharmacy looks like anything but a pharmacy anyways. Looks like conviniance store in a third world country. Dusty and dirty.

They held our prescriptions for two days and did not fill it. Instead they told us to go some other pharmacy. Insane! So disrespectful and incompetent. Horrible pharmacy. They never greed you properly and they all look angry . Store is not organized and looks anything but a pharmacy

i am glad i was able to pick up my scrip at astoria chemists for my scratched cornea (no clue how it happened) as the pharmacy tech and then the pharmacist both explained in simple how to apply eye drops. full service pharmacy that carry what the big overpriced chain drugstores have but in a smaller space. good to support a mom and pop local biz in astoria. they also carry soothing throat drops that are hard to find at most drug stores . 4 stars on my yelp meter.

Friendly neighborhood pharmacy. They are very helpful - when I had some issues with a prescription, they called places to help sort it out and I had the meds in no time. They are usually very quick to fill my rx. Sometimes a staff member is in a bad mood but usually they are all very friendly. If I have to point out any cons, they don't have an app or automated phone refill service like I have experienced with other pharmacies. You have to call them to give the rx number to the person on the other line and they don't let you know when your meds are ready to be picked up. Not a big deal though - the rx is usually ready in 5 mins and if you just show up, they'll fill it right away with very little wait.

This pharmacy has been uber helpful and kind to me. I have called them with random questions (what to do about forgetting to take a pill, etc) and they are always supportive and try to assist. They are a busy pharmacy but never too busy to help. Can't say enough about how wonderful this is!

After years and frustration long lines , lack of customer service, mistakes, by going to the big chain pharmacies I switched all my prescriptions to Astoria chemists. I don't know why I waited so long. This local small business is a gem. Prescriptions filled quickly, personable, efficient, caring, helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Unprofessional and liers they said they where open till 9pm I called them at 7 went at 730 after my ER discharge and they where closed ! Horrible human beings

Stephen the pharmacist deserves a gold medal for his helpfulness. When I was in a time sensitive situation, he stayed open later than usual to make sure I got medication for my wife, even when I was stuck in late day traffic. He went above and beyond the call, and did it with calm reassurance and kindness.
