My husband and I have been regular customers for many years as we live around the corner. It would be 4 if it were not for the HORRIBLE CRAZY woman who works during the day who INSISTS every single time in charging us an extra dollar every time I buy our beer here. Meanwhile all the other employees ALWAYS charge my husband and I eleven but she always tries to charge twelve when she’s by herself and then FIGHTS with me about it. The others always tell me that she is wrong and has been spoken to multiple times but when they are not there she still tries to charge $12 and makes it like some sort of personal battle. This has been going on for over a year. Finally they have put up a big sign on the fridge about half a year ago clearly showing that the bud platinum is $11, but she STILL tries to charge $12 like today and makes excuses like “They’re wrong”, “The lady said the price is not good, they didn’t change it yet”. I said, “So the sign is FALSE ADVERTISING then! If it’s $12 why would the sign that has been there for a long time say $11??!” Absolutely ridiculous and bizarre woman. This is not cool just simply out of principle.
A shame because the other guys (the young man and the older gentleman at night) have always been courteous to us and pleasant to deal with and my husband has the same experience with them.

Love this place; the limited produce selection is usually better than C-town for the same or lower price, they sell great peppers, the spice rack in the back is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. They also have the lowest beer prices (with a small but always fresh selection) in the neighborhood.Sometimes there is a tamale cart out front; also 5 star!
