If you're looking to ship alcohol with ease, look no further. The entrance is in the back. (I had thought I was going the wrong way.) In December we had taken a trans Atlantic cruise that ended in New York (I live in California) and had bought lots of wine. (Couldn't be helped with destinations like Italy, France and Spain.) While I could have bought another suitcase to fly home (and pay for the extra luggage and over weight charges) it would mean a lot of hassle to pack it correctly for the trip and lots of running around to get the right packaging. Not to mention storing the extra luggage later. Between the cost of materials to pack it, the suitcase and the overweight charges (like I said, a lot of wine), it made more sense to take it to The Spirited Shipper. I had called to verify they could ship it (and figured if not I could buy the needed materials to pack it for the flight. They did ask how many bottles - I assume there is a limit or different rules if too much - the alcohol content, as there are rules for the % allowed per bottle shipped.). I packed it into my luggage and took a taxi over. They packed it up, quickly and carefully and shipped it out that day. Everything arrived in perfect condition and I didn't have to lug it to the airport and home. If I ever need to do this again from New York I will be back.

These shipping boxes are elegantly well designed, keeping bottle shipments unbroken in a package that uses simple recyclable cardboard. The design is a simple origami that works every teim. I wish every bottle shipper used Spirited Shipper boxes and inserts!

I used them for fulfillment earlier in the year. They were prompt and did a good job, but there were unable to provide proof of the shipping charges they charged me. Definitely sketchy and I feel like I got scammed. If you want to go with them, be sure to tell the owners that you want to see FedEx receipts or their bill for each order. They "delete order information daily" so ask before they start fulfilling.

If you need something mailed via FedEx or UPS, and live in Astoria, this is the place to go! Not only will you be greeted by the friendliest husband and wife duo, and be in good hands, but you can rest assured your package will be tracked and shipped with no hassle! They actually specialize in mailing alcohol/spirits (hence their name) and their secret weapon in customer service is their absolutely adorable Bassett hound Sparky!! They've helped me through eBay mix-ups, care packages, and holiday gifts! Cannot recommend them enough. Stop by and bring a treat for Sparky!

The spirited shipper makes quality boxes that support your bottles when you ship them. We have used these boxes several times and inserts, with zero breakage. Coming from the bar industry this is invaluable!
