“Hidden gem! We were on our way back from Canada and googled this place since it was right off the Taconic Parkway. Went apple picking and bought apple cider donuts and peach pie. Best apples and peach pie I’ve ever had we will definitely be returning. Owner was so friendly. He let me pick some sunflowers to take home since it was the end of the season. Such a nice people. Thank you for a wonderful experience.❤️”
“Story Farms is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves fresh, locally grown produce. Their fruits and vegetables are always incredibly fresh, picked at just the right time for optimal flavor. The farm itself is beautiful, with cows grazing peacefully across the street, creating a charming and relaxing countryside atmosphere.
In addition to the fresh produce, they offer a variety of locally made foods that are both delicious and quickly available, perfect for a quick bite or bringing home something special. The prices are very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy high-quality, fresh food without breaking the bank. Whether you're stocking up on fruits and veggies or enjoying the farm's tranquil setting, Story Farms is a must-visit spot for fresh, locally sourced food.”

“I am a raving fan of Aldi in general, but this store is my favorite. Their staff is the best. Most of them have been there for years. They are friendly, efficient, and hardworking. I love the smaller store layout. I am in and out with a week’s worth of groceries in less time than I usually spend standing in line at other supermarkets. I don’t have to spend time or brain power deciding what brand and size is the best value. We try to keep our meal planning simple with a limited amount of processed foods, and find that Aldi covers about 95% of our needs. I believe our weekly grocery bill is less than half of what we would spend elsewhere. For best results, join one of the Aldi Aisle of Shame facebook groups. You’ll get tips, reviews, sneak peaks, and funny insider jokes.”
“Nice farmers market with a lot of amazing produce and unique other products from a variety of vendors. Very nice atmosphere and lots of friendly folks, plus samples lol! It is worth stopping in and try some of the unique items people are offering”
“It's been a journey to bookmark this exact place, but I finally got it last year and so knew exactly where to return this year on my latest visit to the area. I come here for the pies. There are produce stands a plenty in the area, and many laid out more attractively than this very rustic farm stand. However! The homemade pies here stand out from all the other ones. They don't come wrapped in plastic and stamped with a label. You really have no idea who makes these or what allergens might be in there! There's just a small, handwritten script label of the pie flavor. And according to long-time owner Norman, some nice old ladies make these pies for him and the no frills packaging and cursive scrawl would support this! The flavors range from blueberry, cherry, apple, strawberry rhubarb, and berries of the forest. The latter two are my faves. The pie lattice is SUPREME! Even my very skilled baker friend commented on this when I shared a slice with her. The filling is fruity, though sometimes you get more sauce than fruit chunks. Still that doesn't stop me from devouring this delicious creation.”
“Stopped by on our way back from Coxsackie and was blown away by the breadth, depth, and quality of the offerings in the retail store. The in-store bakery produces a stunning array of fresh-baked treats from pound cake to pretzels. The meat case made me drool and I can't think of anywhere else I can find Northwind Farm ribeyes, which are incredible. The curation of imported goods, combined with on-farm preserves, produce, etc, is unique. Definitely worth a detour.”
