I had to get my car inspected so I went to Anderson Automotive on State Street in Auburn, NY. I had been a patron of their shop when they were in a shop closer to my home. They are always accomodating with appointments and do requested work in a timely manner. Costs are reasonable. I will go to them whenever my car needs work done.

They called 15 minutes before closing and left a message saying they hadn't got to my car after 8 hours and would hold it for the weekend if I didn't pick up.
Didn't see the message until 425, after they were closed and gone. So don't have a car for a full weekend cause I didn't have my phone on me for half an hour.
Couldn't have called me earlier???
Seriously unimpressed, will NOT be using their service again
All this after they tried talking me out of using them as a mechanic because I might have a battery issue that requires a Subaru specialist? Like, look in the car and confirm that? And do the other things we need?? Still needed brakes looked at!

I showed up just before closing. Although busy, they stopped and helped me diagnose my van issue.Unable to repair in time for my travel home, they referred me to reputable repair shops.If I'm ever in need of a car repair, I would trust these guys 100%

The service is always great at Anderson’s Auto in Auburn NY. I have been using their services on my 2005 Chevy Avalanche and my 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo for over 10 years. I am always informed about any problem, cost and time frame of repairs needed. They are always true to their word and the repairs are always done in a timely fashion. The cost of repairs are exactly what they quoted me. If any additional problems are discovered after I drop my vehicles off to them they call me and explain exactly what extra service my cars might need. No surprises here, just excellent quality service all around. I can highly recommend Brian Anderson and Billy Anderson to all of my Friends, Family and Clients.
