Everybody else reviewing are idiots and have never actually worked customer service in their life. The store is perpetually short staffed, but the staff who do come to work, work hard and help as much as they can.

I ordered $600 of Kingsford charcoal on May 31st from the Auburn store and they ask when I would like it delivered. I replied June 5th would be great as they gave me a window from 8am to8pm would be delivered and I new I would be home all day. So today is the 8th and I still haven't seen it . I talked to the store yesterday and I was told it would be there..Haha Joke on me it still hasn't been delivered. So I will be calling when they open@ 6am to here the story of the day..I think I should get it for half price now..........

Very disappointed with the store and the managers Bruce and Sheri. We picked out and PAID for our bathroom tub surround vanity and top. When our contractor went to pick up during pick up times it was all sold out from under us!! Spoke to both managers but neither really wanted to help. One told me it was first come first serve. To me that’s stealing I already bought it. So long story we had to drive to Buffalo to get another surround because they said couldn’t help get to

I've dealt with Home Depot in Auburn for years. Recently I placed an online order for a storm window. It showed 4 online in the Camillus Store, about 35 minutes away. I assumed they would ship it from there to the Auburn Store. It told me it would be available at the Auburn store in 3 days. I placed the order on 3/21/21. The window finally arrived at the Auburn store on 4/9/21 after being being shipped via ESTES from Delaware. It took almost 3 weeks. Are you serious? Why didn't you send one from Camillus? Anyways, I placed an order on 4/13/21 for an 18 foot Gorilla Ladder. It told me I would have it on Saturday 4/17. As of today, 4/16/21, it has not even been shipped. It was ordered as a gift I wanted to give this weekend. Obviously it won't be here. I tried reaching Customer Support via their phone number and waited 9 minutes until it just disconnected me. I then tried texting with their Customer Support. They claimed because of the season and covid things are taking longer. I wanted to cancel the order and they said it was too late. I said it has not even shipped yet. Didn't matter they said. So they told me my options are to refuse delivery or ship it back and get a full refund when it arrives. That was it, they offered no other help and no idea when the ladder will actually arrive to me. So Customer Service was worthless and their attitude was less than helpful. Ok so clearly Home Depot doesn't want my business, so I'll be going to Lowe's from now on. Very disappointed. I have dealt with Home Depot for years but be warned, if you order something from then, don't expect it for several weeks.

Appliances were supposed to be delivered on the 5th of June called that day to say they weren’t coming that it’d be June 18th then call on the 17th to find out their not being delivered again but have been in the warehouse in Syracuse since the 12th of June had to pay my contractor because there was no notice that it wasn’t going to be delivered.

Just a heads up friends and family do not order any major appliances or cupboards from home depot in auburn NY. They will give you the run around. Its been well over a month with multiple promise dates of delivery and still nothing but excuses!!! So beware.

Terrible. A dangerous mess and rude, indifferent employees. Dollies and carts left everywhere and people there either ignore or tell you that products are not here and need ordering.

Worst place for professionalism. They let the employees talk crap about customers. Then let the good employee go after they report it to the higher ups! Wouldn't work here for $30 a hr.

I love the kid workshops every first Saturday of the month! My three year old loves it and we appreciate that they do this. They learn how to do it themselves with help and it's always fun. Also everyone is always helpful there.

I walked down the same aisle 3 times, so it should have been obvious that I couldn't find what I was looking for. But the staff member turned his back to me every time. Also, I was picking up a large lumber order, and the staff member who brought it to the customer service desk walked away as quickly as he could stop the cart. The cashier was very helpful, and called for loading help. When no one responded, she walked the store until she found someone to ask. This staff member turned his back to me so he could whisper something to the cashier. Then he said, "Do you mind waiting?" I said, I'll start loading it myself. He said, "I just have to load some pellets first." She told me to bring my vehicle up to the front. There was no other loading going on at either entrance, the whole time I was loading up my lumber. When I had loaded 42 of my 50 boards, the original staff member who had brought the cart came out to load the remaining 8 boards for me. A few customers walked by and said they could never get help either. There aren't really other options for building materials here, but I'm really sick of the lack of assistance. It's the same at every visit. I spend a lot of money here.

The store hired me to clean out there trench drains in the garden room, after getting paperwork signed and walking away from pro desk there employee Nick said to a coworker ‘I can’t believe they contracted that idiot’ I immediately wallked back towards him and asked him if he just called me a idiot. He replied that he was talking about another contractor. Aparantly nick had us out at his home, not for work but for a estimate, before nick calling me a idiot, he had made other suddle comments about him not liking our company. I do believe he was talking about me and he didn’t think I was still in earshot. Talked to management about issue they said they were going to talk to nick but I’m not very confident much will be done.

Had the worst experience today trying to buy a flowering shrub for my mom for Mother's Day tomorrow. I understand that not everyone is an expert in gardening, but I had a lot of questions that went unanswered because the teenager that was called to help us didn't have the knowledge. Again, I know not everyone is an expert and it's a Saturday, but more help or at least some effort to try and find someone who knows what they're talking about would've been nice...especially since there were several other employees around.
