“Old Kirby Vacuum cleaner got thrown out, still have the tools for carpet shampooer & other attachments. Tried giving them to distributors or vacuum repair, after many calls, the last repair person stated VOA, Salvation Army, or Goodwill.
Appreciate that! Really don't want to put usable items in the garbage vs getting reused.”

“Looks the slightest run down and smells like sweat, but what else can you expect from a thrift store. The section of things other than clothing was pretty small, and I saw ONE piece of furniture which (which was already sold), but there was a LOT of clothes. No pants in my size, but I picked out a shirt and a few fun blazers, and my mom got some very nice dresses. There appeared to be a sizable plus size section (I didn't think to pay that much attention) but there was at least a large rack chock full of tops. Nothing spectacular, but a very fun experience:)”

“I love Grandma Jaree's! I've been coming to this place since I was a small child in the 90s and it was still the Salvation Army, then the Trading Post.

There is always something new to discover—vintage finds and newer things too.

The place could really use some air conditioning—especially upstairs. I love to browse the books on the upper level, but it's hot enough to make you feel ill in the summer. I also wish the books were more organized (I would be more than glad to do it myself, honestly).

There aren't as many clothes as there used to be, and it's a shame that most of the best items are behind locked glass counters (we live in a low-trust society and shoplifters ruin the experience for everyone else) but it's worth coming in every so often to see what's for sale.”
