Namaste, Leonard (Ram lLev) and Jenness (Devi) are the most welcoming people. I am so grateful to have found this meditation center. They still offer all courses online as well, so there's no need to be near Albany to participate! I have found such profound beauty and stillness through my meditation practices with AMI. Highly recommend.

I went to advertised event tonight sponsored by AMI. It was advertised as an evening with Dan Millman with a seeming of Oeaceful Warrior and w&a with Dan Millman. Was excited to see him, however, while the film was good, there was virtually no q&a with Nr. Millman. Leonard and his wife Janice coopted the entire q&a period Mr Millman was only able to answer one question because they kept interjecting their ideas and opinions. Want to learn meditation or consciousness - don’t go to AMI - their egos are too big and they only care about getting all the attention for themselves.

Was lucky to witness this calm, beautiful place with very friendly people. My music teacher performed sitar here along with her son on the tabla on the occasion of guru purnima. It was a wonderful peaceful evening.

American Meditation Institute is a great place to learn holistic mind body meditation techniques. These techniques help one to bridge our inner wisdom with our thoughts words and deeds. They offer classes for students of all levels.

The AMI approach to adopting meditation in your life is more than just a tool. It becomes your way towards peace, joy and healing. The classes are filled with such insights to a simpler way of being and becoming whole. The center is quite a gift to the area.

American Meditation Institute is a wonderful place for learning meditation. I have been a student at the institute through distance learning and once a year conferences for the past three years. Learning to practice meditation using the teaching has transformed my life and lowered my stress levels significantly. I recommend that everyone at least take the beginning meditation course as a starting point. Meditation is good for everyone but it takes discipline and persistence. Being a part of the institute gives you support to keep learning and growing. Namaste!

I was referred to the American Meditation Institute by an Ayurvedic doctor when I was a junior in college. What I thought was going to be a simple meditation class to help relieve stress turned out to transform the entire course of my life. Leonard Perlmutter (Ram Lev) and Jenness lovingly equipped me with tools for transforming pain-driven thoughts, emotions and habits into more self-love, self-care, kindness and a balanced mind so that I can act skillfully in every circumst
