I recently booked 3 rooms for my daughter's wedding at the Old Daley Inn in Sept / 2021. I booked 1 for my oldest daughter and her husband who flew in from Georgia, 1 for my sister and her son who drove down from Maine and 1 for myself and my wife. My sister's room had to be changed because the room they placed her in had water damage and smelled of mold and my daughter's room was uncomfortable. My wife and I had the king bed room and it was the worst night sleep (if any) I ever had. Not to mention upon arrival, there was no reception to meet me. There was a man behind the bar and a woman seated at the bar whom I assumed worked there but couldn't take the time to even greet us. Not to mention that there was no food service whatsoever. This is a bed and BREAKFAST. I would think that with the amount of money I paid for 3 rooms, we could AT LEAST have been offered coffee in the morning? And again, no reception on checkout. I could have gotten better service, a better night's sleep and a continental breakfast at the local Holiday Inn Express! Don't waste your time or your money at this place.

You really need to manage your expectations before booking. The rooms are very outdated, they are certainly "rustic" - bed was uncomfortable, very wobbly, and noisy. The bathroom, and overall decor are easily from a few decades ago. Area rugs have NO traction, slid and almost fell multiple times. Only very basic amenities- just a TV and spotty wifi. No fridge, no place to even get a water other than the faucet. I am positive the top quilt and the decorative pillow cases were NOT washed. Sheets and towels seemed to be clean. Walls are thin, you can hear everything around you. The bathroom door did not fully close without significant force. The shower doesn't drain well, prepare to stand in a couple inches of water. Food at the restaurant was decent- mussels were very good. Pizza was soggy and just okay, the service was non existent. The only real perk of this place is the fact it was the only place to stay local to where we were visiting. Seems to be family owned an operated, people were nice. But I wouldn't come back

Just finished my stay at the Inn. I rented 3 rooms for my family to stay in for an event off site. The rooms were very clean and all themed differently which was very nice. However, I had the room with the king bed and it was the worst night sleep I ever had. Upon getting up at 8, there was no breakfast to be had! Sorry, but if you call yourself a bed and breakfast, I would expect breakfast. After spending north of 500.00 for 1 night for 3 rooms, I would expect a comfortable mattress and AT LEAST COFFEE. Anyway, nice atmosphere but I would not stay here again.

What a cute country getaway! I was so thrilled to find this bed and breakfast, last minute, for a quick family trip upstate. Anna Maria was super accommodating and very kind. The inn is so quaint and like taking a step back in time - in the best way! The beds were very comfortable, we had a private en suite bathroom and flat screen television. No breakfast unfortunately due to COVID reasons. The restaurant on site, La Perla, was fantastic for dinner. You may wait a bit on Friday nights, but the food was totally worth the wait! True Italian cuisine. On the second night, we tried a wood fired pizza and it did not disappoint! After two long days of helping my sister move and paint her new house in Troy, Gregory House was a comfortable and lovely place to feed our bellies and lay our heads! Sending thanks and well wishes to Anna Maria and her husband and son (the chefs) and your excellent waitstaff, including Stephanie and Jordan!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Gregory house. We love it. The rooms are quiet, clean, and very beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay again, and recommend it. There is also a restaurant, but we haven’t eaten there yet. We plan to on our next trip.

Had reservation at 7:15 for 8. Meal finally arrived at 10:15. Spent 530$ + 80$ tip. Hands down the worst family experience at this cost to date.

It reminds me of dinner at my Italian grandmothers. Plastic over the table clothes and all! I highly recommend skipping lunch prior to going to dinner here! Food is superb! 5 stars!!

This was our first visit and it was excellent! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! We had the bruschetta as an appetizer which was very good. For entrees, we had the gnocchi and penne puttanesca. Both were delicious and served piping hot (my grandmother would have been pleased!). The portions were huge too. Definitely enough for (at least) two meals, which made the prices that much better! We will definitely be back!
