The staff is wonderful. They were warm and welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have old world charm. Please note that there is no elevator in the building but they do have a stair lift chair for those who cannot make it up and down. I highly recommend a stay. Food at the restaurant was very good and offered plentiful portions.

I’m not sure where to start I don’t think I’ve ever written this bad of a review before ever. I was very excited about coming here.i Waited many years and tonight we came it was a Friday night, which they were not busy. We had reservations. We were addressed several times, that they would be right with us that didn’t happen for almost 15 minutes as we were served our first and only drinks our waitress either quit or walked out sick. I’m not quite sure we sat for several more minutes before I asked one of their three employees if she quit or if we are going to have service Mark, the waiter then took our order and we were served. The food was very much mediocre at best service was absolutely terrible. Drinks were OK 2 1/2 hours later we did not stay for dessert. We got no apologies very unprofessionally ran, and in the meantime that we sat there a group of three people walked out they were not served anything another group of two. also left they were not even given menus and a gentleman that lives in the area. I’m going to assume because he knew everybody there was going to buy shots. They informed him that the lady that went home sick or quit was a bartender and did not get them for him so he continued to wait with no shots the shot is if the owner reads this he lost any word from $350-$500 just for a sit here 2 1/2 hours. Please take note for me to end this. Basically it will take an act of God for me to come back to this place and that’s a shame after waiting so many years to come get a try peace out.

We stayed here after a wedding reception was being held here. Very comfortable, well maintained, and most importantly the bed was very comfortable

My family and I had an amazing stay there. It had a historical charm with modern conveniences and the owner was just warm and welcoming.
I highly recommend eating at their in-house restaurant...the presentation and flavor was excellent.
I would also recommend playing a few rounds of billiards and taking time to relax in one of their many rocking chairs 💕
I love this place and will stay there every time we drive our son to RIT.

Service good room served its purpose, but you could hear guests talking through the walls. And the continental breakfast choices were lacking.

A nice historical hotel and restaurant. Stairs are steep but manageable. Staff was awesome and attentive. Stayed 2 nights were comfortable and quiet. Dinner was good also.

Absolutely perfect venue for a wedding. Phenomenal service. Rooms are pristine andcdecor is beautiful. Great food. We had a wonderful time and will be back. Highly recommended.

Tried calling all week, no answer voice-mail full unable to leave a message. Emailed them under customer service - no response. Wanted to make a reservation for Easter. Now today they are sold out, seriously not impressed.
