Recently purchased a used vehicle from this Bob Johnson with about 64,000 miles on it at purchase. I pick up the vehicle and realized later that night that my rear light is out. Had to go back for them to fix it within the same week (I live 35-40 minutes away). Then within a month and a half of me having the vehicle, the motor blew. I had not even put 5,000 miles on the vehicle personally yet. I had to pay for a tow to a dealership near where I live. I called Bob Johnson the day after this happened to see if they could help me out at all and I either would not get an answer or told that somebody would call me back to assist me but that never happened either. I had to continuously call them to try to get any kind of help, but I received none. The dealership I had the vehicle towed to even called them to have them try to get me in a rental vehicle and they wouldn't even do that for me. I had no car for two weeks due to this. Thankfully the other dealership has taken great care of any issues I have had. They thankfully also informed me the car Bob Johnson sold me needs a brand new battery as well. When I called Bob Johnson to confront them about this they told me they would cover the cost of the new battery AS LONG AS I TOOK MY REVIEW DOWN. I told them my review will be staying up and we will be covering the cost ourselves. This sounds a little like blackmail to me. I highly DO NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from this Bob Johnson. Take your money somewhere else.

I have to give Bob Johnson Chevrolet West only one star. That one star goes to Izaya our salesperson. He was professional, listened, kept us updated while we waited for our car to be delivered to the dealership. We could not have asked for anything more from a salesperson. He showed genuine concern with our issues. Our problems began with the financial person, Joseph. Joseph was more concerned with selling us a maintenance agreement. We let him know we did not want to purchase and from then on it was downhill. Joseph told us that we clearly did not want to listen to him explain all the reasons why we should have an additional plan so he was not going to talk anymore and turned his back on us. We were dismissed. Not pleased when we left his office and shared with the salesperson. We left while they did what they needed to do so we could pick up the car later in the day. While we were gone Izaya talked to Joseph and the manager and Joseph denied any bad behavior. Back at 4pm to pick up the car and sign all of the paperwork . Almost done with the ppwk and finally came to the part about the loan only to find the interest rate to be higher than anticipated. We were expecting a rate of approximately 6% only to find the rate to 8.3% We justified paying the rate as we planned to pay off sooner. The next day we called Izaya and let him know we were not feeling good about how things went the day before and what our options might be. He listened and took our concerns to the sales manager, Mike. Mike called us and we explained our concerns. Our main concern was how we were treated by Joseph. He did not do his job and the manager, Mike, agreed Joseph did not do his job of going over final figures and interest rates etc. We were told that he would be having a conversation with Joseph. Mike was thinking it was the interest rate that had us feeling not pleased. It was not totally about the interest rate. It really was about not being open about the interest rate and Joseph not doing his job. It was a good buying experience soured by one person's ego.

We bought a used Jeep from Brandon. We were very excited until we noticed a huge oil spot in our garage a few days after buying it. We called Brandon who seemed to want nothing to do with the situation. We brought it in and they said nothing was wrong with it. We continued to have the same problem so we brought it back. This time they said we needed a power transfer unit. This Jeep only had 18,000 miles on it. We ended up trading it in and got a different car at a better dealership. Stay away from this place!

When it comes to buying a vehicle the salesman are awesome to work with and I would 100% recommend you do so! However the service side is garbage. I have brought in two different trucks just to have some recalls taken care of. Both times they have come out of the shop with sensor issues on what the recall was. They told me both times it was not there fault "sometimes the sensors go bad at weird times" wanted me to pay about 850 dollars total for the fixes. Service manager was not easy to work with at all. Told me to bring the truck back in and they will look at the truck for free, then ended up charging me 107.00 when it was in the shop for 25 min.

Stay away !!! They don't care about customer service after the sale just bought a new 2020 Chevrolet equinox I noticed the brake rotor was severely scored service said it was fine this car has only 2800 miles on it the service department refused to replace it until I got GM involved then they were going to install the scored brake pads on the new rotor until I demanded they replace with new I have been a mechanic for over 40 years and have never seen such poor customer service this car was $30k and they argued over a factory defective rotor and i still can't believe they were going to install defective warn pads on a new rotor just buy elsewhere or check your car over Good !!

I am writing this specifically for the location just off exit 10 (Avon). What a great addition to the Bob Johnson collection. So convenient. I want to call out specifically Josh (Sales) but Id rather say consulting. He was a real delight to work with from start to finish. I understand he has not been here long but find it easy to understand why so many folks are migrating to him to help make their Chevy (or Jeep... etc..) new car purchase. It's a welcome change to feel at ease with immediate trust.. kinda like having a cousin help you through the process. Lots of good stuff here and I keep my partner in crime at bay with their free WIFI while I asked my many many questions and Goldilocks my way through the lot until I found my perfect ride.

Went here a few times when we lived in Rochester, and were consistently disappointed. The service guys seemed grumpy most days, and trying to get more info from them was like pulling teeth. We have a Chevy Equinox that's burning through oil, which is a known issue and covered under warranty. These guys said we had to prove it was burning through at least 1 quart of oil within 2000 miles...5 times. Then maybe they'd replace the pistons. Anyhow, we moved out West, and the Chevy dealer here made us do this only once, which is reasonable. Now we're finally getting the pistons replaced under warranty. Not sure why Bob Johnson made things so difficult.

Was rushed into a deal. They called the next day with different terms than we had agreed to. I told them I needed to talk to my wife. I received 7 calls over the next hour asking what my deal was. I emailed them telling them no thanks. They kept at it so I called and explained. The salesperson hung up on me mid sentence. Stay away!

Leaving 1 star as I do at least have my new vehicle. I found the salespeople to be unresponsive over the whole process, which drew out the buying process considerably. More recently, the dealership failed to register my car on time despite several inquiries to the dealership noting I had not received it (with no response). 45 days in, I still do not have a registration. In the end, I am happy to have my vehicle, but the experience left (and still leaves, as I have a few outstanding issues not being resolved) much to be desired. Unfortunately, I would not recommend purchasing here and will not purchase from them in the future.
