UR Medicine Labs is a full-service, not-for-profit laboratory that serves customers from across the U.S. and beyond. Part of the University of Rochester Medical Center, we are the largest medical lab in our region, with over 900 professionals, performing more than 8 million patient tests each year. Staff do an excellent job. Blood draws are pretty painless and efficient. Main concern mentioned by others is privacy which is a function of the office layout making this a difficult issue for staff.

The phlebotomist is working alone which means she is the receptionist too. There are literally 16 people waiting for blood and she hasn’t started drawing because she is still checking everyone in. She is personable, knowledgeable and efficient but how is this justified? Give this woman some assistance.
