I moved form NY York to Pennsylvania,I am 56 years of age, and on medications, that impair me. I am partially immobile due to my diagnosis. In the summer of 2021, I had to leave my rented house that ,my deceased father I lived with due to his passing. I was under total duress. I secured a home in western PA. Three years later, I got a deduction out of my Checking Account from the Long Island branch of Chase Bank. The box was only utilized for a week until I drew the funds and put them into my Chase Savings, to have a cashiers check for 39K for down payment on my new home in PA. Time elapsed until I seen $97 was deducted fro my account in PA for failing to return the keys and close the box. I called them and notified both branches about my situation. I recovered the keys hidden in my vehicle after forgetting about them for the last 3 years. That's half the dilemma. In order for me to refunded, and to stop having the $97 dollars taking out of my account every year, I need a "Power of Attorney present at the NY branch for the document to be signed in their presence. I am alone, and have to ties there anymore, and I am sure, nobody would want to take on that responsibility; if I did. I would need to travel 450 miles away just to close the box. very unreasonable ultimatum. Their policies are over zealous, over rigid, and is not tailored for people who are immobile. I cant even have statement from my local branch surrendering the keys, I sign a waver to cancel the box, notarized, and sent that, and the keys through interoffice mail; remotely to my previous branch in Long Island NY, Babylon Village."No I have to be their branch office in person," and I have NO Power of Attorney. I am a lone in this world. They are really giving me a hard time closing out the box. I haven't got the health, and the means of driving out there to NY just to have safe deposit box closed. They are, discriminatory as far as my mobility, and unfair, and tyrannical policies restrict people in my position, that have accessibility problems, I was contacted by their "complaint department to be told the same ultimatum. Totally useless agents, and customer service. at the corporate level, and the Babylon New York branch. Please help me, Joseph Donato. . NOTE: If this is not resolved, I will take every dime out of my Chase Savings, total of $17000, open a new account , and Blog negative feedback about this racket. Its is totally absurd, and unacceptable on how you treat a disabled human beings. By the way. My father was a decorated Korean War Vet. who fraught Communism for fascists like your establishment to prosper, on the backs of the down and out. How dare you! JOE. D

My husband and I recently moved to Babylon which has been absolutely amazing. We love the quaint town and the friendly people but of course our favorite is Argyle Park. However, my first encounter in Chase Bank was with the teller Olana ( I hope I spelled that correctly) My father had recently given me about $15,000 worth of cash bonds and it was for me to pay for school so I went to the bank to cash the bonds, however, I didn’t know the rules and regulations for this. I needed someone to explain to me. Plans began to be aggressive, nasty, and extremely rude to me. She questioned who the bonds belong to where I received the bonds why I had so many bonds, and finally, I just left, and explained to my father, that I needed him to cash the bonds because, there was too much confusion . So after that I vowed, I would never go back to Chase Bank and instead drive the extra mile to the west Babylon location. A few weeks later my husband decided that he wanted to go to the Chase Bank and I stated well I do not go to the one on Main Street. I go to the one in West Babylon. He said no no it’s not drive the extra amount let’s just go to the Babylon location. Of course I reluctantly agreed. we walked into the Babylon location and we both did separate transactions as I waited for him the same teller Orlana was yet again, aggressive and confrontational when he asked her a simple question regarding deposits, and minimum balances in your bank account .Needless to say, I won’t be going to that bank ever again and I’m sure my husband will do the same. Shame on you once shame on me twice that’s the motto for me so I will be taking my business to the West Babylon branch

Used to use this bank for deposits in to my corporate account. Tried to deposit cash. The dark haired middle age woman asked me for id. I said really? For a cash deposit? She said yes it's policy. (I rarely get asked for id) I said ok and went to my car for id. She then says said you don't need id and didn't even glance at it. Ok. Next time I go back same thing she asks me for id. I said you must be kidding. I took my slip and went 3 minutes east to West Babylon chase. Lovely Muslim woman took deposit no problem. I don't think people are depositing cash into others commercial accounts illegally. Most chase banks require exact amount for deposits and do not give change, very unusual for a bank I think. Go to West Babylon chase and avoid Babylon.

Lost license yet I have business - showed a Global entry ID / medical hospital Id x 2 / email copy of drivers license in color front and back from phone, signed into account and provided all account numbers. Showed all credit cards business cards utility bill car insurance all in my name - Wrote entire account number on withdrawal slip for a couple thousand dollars. Branch manager Told me non of these IDs are acceptable event the govt issued GLOBAL ENTRY ID (only passport and driver licence)... NYS is moving to REAL ID in 2025 and this branch has no clue!!! The drivers licenses are going absolete per NYS.I get it all policy procedure protections for the customer... the worst part .... manager goes well if we knew you and your account was registered here in Babylon here with us we might be able to do more.

The best chase branch EVER!!! I would rate this 10000 stars if I could. My account was placed on a restricted status due to a bad check and I could not use my account. After multiple calls and countless visits to different chase branches, this one solved the issue smoothly. I was told different things and was given a run around every time I walked into a branch or called the number, but this branch was just amazing. Douglas, the branch manager, was super helpful in resolving the issue and fully understood what I was going through. We went from having my account almost closed and losing my money to having 3 new accounts opened!! The best branch ever! Thank you Douglas!! A++++++

Easy to see right off of West Main Street servicing Babylon and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Public Restroom. Nice staff. Personal loans and mortgages. Nice staff. We will most likely be going back.

This Chase bank has unprofessional employees that will give you important documents with outdated stamps, ask questions that they would not ask other bankers because you are of a different race or a woman. I had this experience in Manhattan as well so I am withdrawing all my money and choosing another bank that respects and values all of their banker of all colors and genders.

Lovely people. Matt the teller is very helpful. Great professional service. If you can't get a parking spot out front there is a parking lot for Chase around the corner. They have dog treats and lollipops for the children.
