I called to see if they could accommodate a notary for a non-bank customer. I was told yes, by the notary herself. Nice enough. But when I get to the bank, the notary isn't very friendly. Then she notices my driver's license is expired she gets mildly insulting. I comment that I need to catch up on things now that COVID is over, to which she gets very rude, saying "oh it's way too late to use the COVID excuse" but rudely, not in a light or funny way. As it happens, the US government just shut down COVID benefits a few weeks ago, people are still dying from it, and this woman has zero knowledge of what effects it may have had on me, a man in his 60s. Then I offer her other forms of GOVERNMENT ID that she won't take. I ask if there is someone that might be able to ok it, and she says she will contact an associate and ask. Two minutes later, without saying a word, she gets up and walks away from her desk and goes through a door to the back. Since she had said she reached out to an associate, I assumed she was coming back. But no. She just let me sit there not having said anything. Now I see why this bank gets such lousy ratings!

Absolutely the SLOWEST tellers. What a mess. Two tellers available. One teller is doing notary work, the other teller is doing a money order. Capital One Bank just doesn't care about its customers. If you want personal assistance from a banker, forget it. The bank manager is doing nothing. Just walking up and down to the offices upstairs and saying hello to the security guard. One person working at a desk with people waiting longer than 30 minutes. What a mess.

Just outrageous on a Thursday afternoon not a single ATM operational. Two tellers and line inside branch super slow motion.

The drive-through is a joke. Waited 10 minutes and no teller. I couldn't go in as I had my dog with me. I finally called the bank and they said that they're busy somewhere in the back and they will get to the window if I can wait a couple of minutes. 10 minutes later still nothing. It's bad enough there is only one drive up window but at least keep it manned.

The drive thru is very inconsistent. Two days in a row it's close and some days it's open. When I get a chance to ask they have different answers. Have a schedule and keep to it.

I usually do not go to this branch. Went there once and had a good experience. People working there are polite. Did not wait for too long.

I've always had a credit card and auto loan through Capital One however I've never banked with them outside of my credit union . Recently I opened a 360 account online and they are now my primary account for checking. I like the convenience of their ATM locations, new refreshing logo and online banking is now a dream come true. Amidst the COVID19 pandemic I visited the Garden City and Westbury branches which were a nightmare. Terrible service prior to the pandemic as well. Long lines. Clueless employees. Today I am happy to report that this branch is the best. Professional staff. Smiling faces. Best of all, no long lines and no nonsense. I needed a cashier's check today. While I'm not happy with the $10 up charge as a account holder, I will say it beats all the foolish monthly fees the other For Profit banks charge. This branch is raising the bar. I hope the other branches can take notes from the branch manager here.

This is one of the only branches that was able to help answer my questions on how to make an international wire transaction. Other branch did not have the knowledge. This location is very old. Everything was either scratched or in need of replacement,,,, but the people were nice and knowledgeable.

Seriously the slowest bank ever. I was in the drive through for almost an hour and there's two girls in the window and only one car was in front of me. Terrible place

I have dealt with Josephine on a few occasions. She is always so friendly and helpful! Definitely makes going to the bank a much easier experience!

We walk in and there is plenty of people waiting and standing in line, the manager ask what we came in for we told him he asked politely to wait and they would help us as soon as possible. So when it comes to our turn to open up a new account the employee leaves the desk and starts going to help other people. I talked to the "managers" and they said he'll be right back. They are just blatantly skipping us at this point. Very rude trying to brush us off terrible customer service at this location. "Hector Lemus" sarcastically said sorry for the wait after he helped 10 more people. I'm extremely disappointed and will be calling to submit a formal complaint. Especially when you lie to my face more than once. Just shows that the staff is poorly trained and that's a direct reflection of leadership. I came here looking for a new, greater, epic experience. For this I'll goto chase and open up an account and get paid to open up one there. This place is a joke atleast this branch I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Customer service definitely has gone way way up. Used to suck, there is one lady in particular who is extremely friendly. Love her, don't know her name but she has to be their employee of the month, lol, she's just great.
