Very unorganized and unprofessional! I called for an appointment with someone, they told me they don’t do appts. to come and wait, I ask how long until he’s done because I work 5 mins away she said come and wait. I get there 25 mins later because I was giving him time to finish and I didn’t want to sit In a nail salon because I was getting this pedicure on my break. then when I get there, they tell me the person I want has an appt In 30 mins with someone else. She told me they don’t do appt and had me waste my time and money on uber to get there for them to tell me that. They don’t have basic color acrylic or modern nails and products anyway. And only one person can actually do nails. I wouldn’t recommend!!

My favorite nail salon since they opened. Anyone who has anything mean or negative to say is reflecting their own issues and not what’s really happening.
Make an appointment, show up , be respectful and have a phenomenal experience. I travel from DC to have my nails done here and it’s always awesome , fresh and new designs! Every tech is equally gifted.

The woman in the first chair is the rudest I have ever come across. The work is sub par. Refused to do a acrylic over lay because my nails were short. Told me different salons offer different things, and I should GO THERE. Limited colors. I removed my feet from the pedicure tub and walked right out. Do not support this establishment if you want a decent job for your money and be treated like a human being.

Do NOT spend your money here!
I’ve been going here for about a year until recently I noticed that the person who usually does my nails(Tommy) was always unavailable every time I called to make an appointment . His sister Tiffany would answer and state that Tommy was too busy and had no availability. After multiple attempts, something told me that they weren’t being truthful and for whatever reason was rejecting my business but I needed proof. I decided to call one last time on 7/6/24 to see if Tommy was available and once again I was given the run around and told that he was not. I even asked, did he just not want my business? But Tiffany vehemently denied that was the case. I had a friend call shortly after requesting the same services from Tommy, and she was instantly offered an appointment. Tiffany told her Tommy had availability the same day and even the next day. This entire time, I’d been given the run around simply because they did not want to service me. As previously mentioned, I have been a well paying customer for over a year and to be treated like this is unwarranted and disrespectful. I truly feel discriminated against. I’m curious as to how many others they’ve done this to? Businesses like this should be reported to the Nassau County Human Rights Commission and BBB, which I plan to do.

Came in on my cousin’s recommendation and I was disappointed at all!! I’m very particular with things so I was on the edge of my seat but Tiffany did a great job on my hands (I did a gel mani and gel pedi) - someone one else did my feet and she was also great! I will be coming back ?

07/16/23 - I was really skeptical after the reviews, but when I called they were very polite & nice. Other salons I called were rude. This was my first time going to this shop. Thanks to Tiffany for doing my nails! I was in a bind & needed to find someone ASAP! I was able to walk-in, very little people but still a little wait as there was only one manicurist. Tiffany rushed a tad bit due to being the only tech doing nails at the moment, but she perfected my nails. Only thing missing were the hot towels. Something about that I love, but I guess not all places do them. Not a complete deal breaker. I did the dip manicure or SNS. The color is #094. I love them! Will definitely return ?

i really hate leaving poor reviews especially since the nail tech was so nice but it doesn't change the fact that this was probably the messiest gel manicure i've ever gotten. i also watched her use the exact same tools she used on the person before me without cleaning/disinfecting them. in addition, two people who were there when i first arrived came back to the shop to get their manicures fixed so if that doesn't tell you all you need to know idk what will. really wanted to like this place... would not recommend.

Full Sets always are to my liking.One bad experience thus far (made them lose a star) ….Went for a full set and pedicure… Pedicure lady is taking her time (yes we all love that)..but then it becomes 45 mins then an hourAnd in the midst of all this in walks another customer for a full set.. (My toes still needed to be painted)Why does the owner of the shop try to and does start the woman who walks in with a full set?Nails were not done that day and again full sets are to my liking so I’ve returned

Today was definitely not a good day with Cool Nails. My only wish is that Tiffany would hurry and come back from her vacation before these people she left running her business are going to make it go out of business. There should be absolutely no reason why I come to the nail salon at 10:00am and not be out at 2:11pm. STILL WAITING! I am furious. Only 3 people working in here and they are moving like snails. People have things to do on a Saturday at that. I will not come back here if Tiffany is not present and that's a FACT!Services: Nail designs

Tiffany, I believe she is the owner, she is very rude and has a very short dismissive tone when she speaks to customers and there has even been times where she doesn’t even look you in the eye when she speaks to you. She needs a major lesson in customer service. Their work is good but with lack of customer service, how can you expect customers to feel comfortable? - the last observation I made here was that they need more employees. The wait for a simple pedicure or acrylic/gel set is over 2 hours sometimes. Most times she’ll tell you to come back in hours or the next day.
