I had a noise coming from the front of the car. Took the card to Long Island Auto Repair and they told me that I needed new struts. I had the job done, the noise is gone and the car rides better than it ever has.

Was staying in Hempstead for lax tourney for the weekend, car started sputtering and misfiring, called everywhere in the area, they took it in at 3pm on Saturday and I was on the road back to Syracuse by noon on Sunday. Great service, saved our weekend, can’t thank them enough for their service!

Called for state inspection and easily got in on the same afternoon. They were busy, but very accommodating and got the inspection done in under 2 hours! They didn’t find anything wrong, it’s a new car so that was expected. But they didn’t try to scam me with any unnecessary repairs whatsoever. And at $37 for the whole thing it is so reasonably priced! Highly recommend for your next state inspection.

Kind of forgetful with an attitude… Just because somebody’s wearing mechanic clothes and has grease on them does it make them a mechanic find out for yourself

Extremely fast. Extremely professional, Very fair and helped me get my van back when everyone else was closed. The ball joint went on my old van and the wheel was hanging off making service on it tough. We'll maybe tough for another repair company. Not these guys. They didn't bat an eyelash and fixed it fast with no drama or stress. The manager was extremely professional and I appreciated the heck.out of him and his staff.

Long Island Auto Saved Me Thousands & My Car Runs Like New!
I can’t say enough good things about JP and the team at Long Island Auto! I had a serious engine issue that Pep Boys couldn’t figure out. After multiple visits and wasted time, they had no real answers. Frustrated, I took my car to Long Island Auto, and JP diagnosed the problem right away.
The dealer quoted me $4,200 for the repair, but JP got it done for less than half that price—and with top-quality work. I was honestly skeptical at first, thinking the car might not hold up, which is why I waited to write this review. But here I am 8 months later, and my car still runs like it’s brand new!
If you want honest, expert service at a fair price, Long Island Auto is the place to go. JP truly knows his stuff and doesn’t rip you off like the dealerships. Highly recommend for anyone needing engine repairs, diagnostics, or general auto service!
