Five-Star Review for Joe at Petco Baldwin
I can't say enough good things about Joe, the dog trainer at Petco Baldwin. He truly goes above and beyond—not just for the dogs, but for their families too. Joe is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about helping both pets and owners succeed.
What really impressed me was how he took the extra time to work with the grooming department to help them understand how to handle my deaf puppy. That level of dedication is rare and so appreciated. John from grooming was also fantastic, compassionate and handled my Lovey with care and confidence.
If you're looking for someone who truly understands dogs and puts their well-being first, I highly recommend Joe for training. You and your dog will be in excellent hands!

I am a regular Petco online customer. But I happened to go into this store and was horrified to see these parakeets in tiny enclosures. It is so upsetting to see them like this - not even able to hop around. I don't like the sale of birds but at least in other Petco's the cages are much larger.

My baby’s first haircut! She looks beautiful, and she was reportedly very calm and well behaved ?. Today, July 30, Mocha had her first Puppy Cut. She looked extra sassy with her yellow bow!! Shout out to Stephanie for doing a fabulous job!! I will definitely request her again!! ?

Huge shout out and thank you to Stephanie for helping me with my betta fish. He was suffering with fin rot, not eating, not coming out of hiding, and I was afraid I was going to lose him. "I'm extremely dissatisfied with the grooming service I received at PETCO (Balwing). Despite taking my teddy bear puppy for his first grooming session, they failed to cut his hair altogether. Instead, they only sheared his snout, leaving visible scissor marks. The groomer's excuse was that my puppy was frightened by the new sounds, which I find unacceptable. In fact, he looks better after I bathe him at home. This experience was subpar, and I will not be using PETCO's grooming services again."

I had to get 2 cats and 5 kittens 2 that are special needs the SNAP test in order to adopt a little kitten I had been forstering who's eye exploded and TOH Animal Shelter removed the eye. My reg. vet couldn't do all 7 of mine on the same day, and the cost was outrageous. This is a time sensitive issue, TOH Animal Shelter doesn't hold animals. Ashley[a God sent] at TOH suggested PETCO as an alternative, and I am absolutely pleased with PETCO(VETCO). The vet who saw my kittens was very friendly, and she answered all of my questions. She even explained a procedure that I wanted to have done at a later date. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to do more than what I came to PETCO(VETCO)to do. My experience was outstanding. The price was very reasonable for several cats/kittens. I will be returning for more veterinarian services.
