I took my cat to Vetco , My cat needed blood work, I saw Dr Brenton. at the Baldwin location. After the blood work was done i waited a couple days and I called back. The staff kept saying the doctor would call me when the results were in so I waited . But.. no call from the Dr. Another 2 days later. So I called them , The staff says to me again. The doctor would give me a call by the end of the day. But of course she never did! I ended up calling back. I finally got the Dr. On The phone I was shocked! It felt like I was chasing after my pets test results. I felt awful. (1)because my cat was sick (2 ) I wish I would have took him to a vet that had compassion. This is a terrible business. Ok. So the vet tells me my cat has diabetes. Very high diabetes. Now this is turning into a emergency. But now she tells me she will get back to me with a treatment plan. That was a lie. And they blocked my number. I can't even call to book a follow up appointment. I called from a friend's number and Vetco picked up on the second ring. Whenever I used my number. It goes straight to voicemail. please don't take your pets there . If anyone has any questions about my review, please feel free to contact me. At this point I just want my cat to get healthy again, you can't leave diabetes untreated. I'm crying while I'm writing my review, this is so sad. They just took my money, blocked my calls. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do next. I don't have a ton of money to keep switching Vets and paying for consultation visits and more blood work. You really Hurt my Cat Vetco.

I find the disrespectful, dishonest, unprofessional and empathetic way in which Petco hires staff to be disrespectful!!! A month ago I applied for a groomer vacancy, I attended personally to request information about the documents I should have to be able to work at Petco since I am Latino!!! I consulted the store manager and having my work permit, my social security and my groomer certificate, they also requested my New York State ID and the paperwork. I made every effort to win the vacancy and today after they had told me that if I was going to work at Petco they informed me that by orders of the Petco district manager they would not hire me because I do not speak the English language... Situation I clarified from the beginning and to which they responded that there was no problem for that and it turns out that after a month investing time and money processing and having everything in order.... I find myself with this situation of discrimination and xenophobia for being Latino! !! Shopping for two cats for a week, so fourteen meals. Good Purina selection. Remembered to pick up a box of kitty litter (on sale). Positive shopping.Register clerk was cordial and efficient.

A hidden gem! Petco total care is incredible! I called in a panic to have my 10 year old dog seen with an emergency. I was worried I would have to wait but the hospital manager, Allisen was able to get her in right away! I was greeted with warmth and compassion immediately upon entering the facility. Dr. Yisrael treated my dog- within 24 hours of her diagnosis, and treatment, my pup was feeling back to herself! I am so thankful! Highly recommend and I will be sending all of my friends and family to this location with their fur babies! Thank you!!!!
