My wife and I found this place and stopped in during the winter season. We both immediately loved the atmosphere and staff. A very cozy and inviting place. We cannot wait to experience what Abbott farms has to offer during the other seasons. We will be back. Thank you to Mandy and the entire staff for making us feel welcome

Place is large, looked like lots of space/activities for family fun. Disappointed we didn't get a chance to check out the cidery and farm store but we'll be back!We stayed at the farm as a snow storm was rolling through, Warren was super responsive (text) and our stay was peaceful/easy. Very accommodating and clear directions outlined in Harvest Host (do read and look at map provided, it's super clear and helpful).

I am beyond disappointed...Abbotts Farm absolutely disrespected it's vendors at this last event.I will NEVER be back as a vendor, let alone a general customer. They squeezed about 15 vendors in a dimly lit "Wedding" barn, at the back of their property, with NO signage OR direction for people attending the event to find us from the main building. We were squeezed in so tight there was barley room to attend to our tables. One poor girl even wacked her head into a beam above her table. To make matters worse; at one point there was an Abbotts employee literally YELLING at event attendees and vendors for using a "Handicapped" door that we specifically were told we could use. This made attendees literally turn around and leave...I, and every other vendor there paid $40 for each table, and basically got stuck in an attic.I was VERY much looking forward to this event, now I feel like I was taken for a fool...I do not recommend to do ANY business with this disrespectful, unorganized, GREEDY, and thoughtless place.

Went to Abbott Farms with my wife and 6 month old to meetup with my mother, sister and niece to enjoy a fall day out, but it I cannot say it was an enjoyable experience. We had already planned on spending money for a bag to pick apples. I also was going to get some apple cider and cheese curds from the store, and might have bought some other things after browsing. However, after being told of their policy, I decided against spending any money there. After paying for the bag of apples we received yellow wristbands. My sister paid for the play package for my niece so she could receive the purple wristband to enjoy the activities. While sitting on the bench watching my niece we were rudely approached by a gentleman who asked to see our wristbands. After showing our yellow wristbands he explained the policy and sat on his tractor waiting for us to leave the area. In order for us to even be in the play area, we were forced to purchase the $16.95 purple wristband for each of us, which comes with a bag to pick apples. We did not want to purchase two bags of apples, as my wife was there last weekend and only went for the apple picking, so we have plenty at home. Having to spend $34 for two more bags of apples and the privilege of watching my niece play is absurd. There is also no mention of this from the employees that cash you out. You would think if a family is paying for bags of apples and we are given one purple wristband for a 7 year old, somebody would say, just so you are aware you cannot enter the play area with her unless you purchase a purple wristband. The response we received upon complaining is "you would pay to enter an amusement park wouldn't you?" If I pay to get into an amusement park, I have the option as an adult to ride the rides. I am not jumping on a bounce area, riding a pony, or going down a slide made from PVC pipe, nor is my 65 year old mother. If there is "gravity basketball" or mini golf as they claim, we did not see it anywhere. And again, you shouldn't be forced to pay for those activities if you do not want to do them. If you go there as a family you are all required to pay the upcharge unless you want to leave your child unsupervised in the play area. I understand they don't want people using the property for free, and that is why customers are willing to pay for their kids to play. I was also willing to spend money on items in the shop as well as purchase a bag of apples. But now, I would never step foot on that property. Based on their response to all the negative reviews, I am very happy with that choice. As a business owner, to respond the way they are responding to customer complaints tells you all you need to know about who is running Abbott Farms. This used to be a nice place as I have been going there for years, but they have lost my family as customers along with many others. There were other families complaining in the parking lot as we left. If there are this many complaints from your customers at some point you think you would realize YOU are the problem. I do not want to pay extra to supervise my niece and I will take my business elsewhere. CHEERSIn response to owner: Nobody in our party used the restrooms, or left any trash. Why make general assumptions about your customers? Calling the cops for someone leaving you a poor review instead of trying to rectify the situation seems like a solid business practice. How can you say your strategy is working when you have received 16 one star reviews, and 2 five star reviews in the past 18? And the two 5 star reviews didn't even leave a comment. I would question if they're even legit reviews.

I have been a long time fan of Abbotts since childhood. I have been happy to see the improvements over the years and was happy to pay the higher fees because my kids enjoyed it. The past few visits have had minor inconveniences that I have ignored, assumed it was due to staffing shortages and miscommunication which we all face in business in 2023. However after today’s visit I don’t think I will be returning. I arrived at 5pm with my children. Hours posted online stated they were open until 7, and nowhere online are the outdoor farm fest hours posted. In years past we have arrived at 5 with no issues. Today the cashier told us that we could not go in; that children were not allowed in after 4 and that he hated to be “that guy” but the coupons we had were printed without permission. As I carted my sobbing children out, we drove past many families outside enjoying the fall fest and people still getting pony rides. I understand and respect having market hours vs. wristband hours, however with an active social media and web presence there’s no excuse for not having hours posted to reflect wristband hours.

Literally got turned away even though my group and I were only 7 minutes late past the last bag being sold. We saw on the website AND at the front that the farm closes at 7, so we don't understand why the last bag had to be sold at 5:30. The website could do a much better job at making this clear. Then as my group were looking over the fence at the pumpkins we had someone scold us for planning to jump the fence? Actually crazy that we were denied of any experience whatsoever. In response to the owner: We were well aware of the electric fence sign granted that we are literate university students. We had no intention of hopping the fence whatsoever and were simply LOOKING at the pumpkins. There was no point in time where I or others wished to be electrocuted.

We were charged too much about 15 bucks per person including our small kid. Paid $9 separately again for the apple bag. The owner says there is much to do but the trip will be done in about 1 hour. It's not worth it for the price. Don't fall for this. Try other options around.

Honestly I’m appalled by the person responding to those leaving their negative experiences. As a business owner I understand that it’s hard getting a poor review but it should be made right and made into a learning experience. I agree that the customers are not always right but these responses are beyond unprofessional. And it’s absurd that people have to pay to supervise their child while they play. Someone needs to do some revisions to the policies. I definitely won’t return until this is fixed.

We are literally sitting in the parking lot, I am so upset. The girl working today was soooo incredibly rude. We wanted to do the fall fest activities (3 kids and myself), I inquire to ask if they are open bc there is no one in the parking lot and I called several times before coming but no one answered. The girl said “yes, but it’s a charge for the activities”. I said ok, I understand that. She then says “oh and YOU have to pay, too”. I said ok. I then hand her a coupon that is buy one, get one free, where she abruptly said “we don’t take that coupon. They illegally put us in the coupon book.” I was so caught off guard w her attitude that we just left. I honestly would have paid for everyone to play including myself had she not been so abrupt, and easily would have spent $100+ on the activities and treats... we live just a mile away, and have been very VERY supportive of this business over the years despite the negative reviews, but I now know why all of the mom groups on social media say to avoid this place. It honestly makes me so sad.

Whomever is in charge of responding to the reviews for Abbott Farms is unhinged. You’re doing Beak & Skiff a huge service by being so unprofessional and confrontational—there are plenty of other places for people to take their family. The number of one star reviews you’ve received lately should encourage you to do something differently (because it’s clear that your policy changes upset your customer base)—and then when you proceed to further insult the customers in the comment section—I’m in disbelief at the lack of professionalism. Bad experiences travel faster than good experiences.I personally had an OK time with the family (and I was going to leave a 4 star review until reading the responses from Abbott Farms ) but I totally agree with the other recent negative sentiments. It’s not too late for Abbott’s Farm to stop this downward trend—regardless of how right you think your policies are doesn’t change the fact that the customers don’t.Let someone with more tact respond to the negative reviews—you’re doing yourself a huge disservice by behaving like this. Have yourself a slice of humble pie—it’s low calorie—and apologize to all the customers you’ve insulted. It may not be too late to regain them as future customers. I wish you the best either way. Also—your apple pies are delicious.

Place is a rip off! Paid $32 dollars for my children to play in "kid zone". Would have to pay an additional $32 for my wife and I to be able to supervise our children in the "Kids zone" This is bad business policy. Been to many farms and orchards. We paid the fee for the children to play and we're at least allowed to be with them to supervise. Why would this be policy? The answer is a disingenuous way to make money. As far as I'm concerned this ruin the experience. After the 32 dollar whack I didn't feel the need to spend one more dollar while I was there. If my niece wasn't there my children wouldn't even have had a chance to play unless I paid another $32 absolutely unacceptable

Rude staff, confusing policies, and over-priced. I paid for the pick and play for my 6 year old and a bag for myself to pick apples. The cashier didn't tell me that I would have to pay for the pick and play for myself just to supervise her, there were also no signs stating that. The bounce pillow rules say that children under 12 must be supervised. While I was supervising her I was told that I could not stand there if I didn't have the correct wristband. It is a huge gimmick. Are the adults allowed to ride on the ponies as well? I'd also like to see a bunch of adults trying to use the bounce pillow with small children on it at the same time. That seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. The slides are cheaply made and not big enough for an adult to go down without getting stuck inside of the tunnel. Half of the "attractions" listed were nowhere in sight. I'd like to see a map of where these attractions are located. Don't waste your money.

Was excited to buy some pumpkins and fall snacks. Staff were rude. They spoke in a raised voice and mean tone. Staff were not helpful and the whole system seemed so confusing. I ended up leaving buying nothing. There are so many nice farms in town... Won't be coming back :(
